Have a question for all you Disney pros!!! My wife, her parents, and our daughter are going to DL this summer. I know with kids you can take turns going on the rides. My question is this, can we push a stroller through the lineups or do we need to leave it outside? Just curious because we were hoping to get in some "adult" time when DD is sleeping in the stroller!

Nope, you have to park them in "stroller parking" while you wait in line.

Yea you have to park it outside the ride in the designated area. It was nerve racking the first time we did it but we never had any issues. My wife even left her iPhone in the cup holder in plain site on accident a couple times and it was still there when we came back. Most of the time we remembered to grab our valuables but the few times we didn't they were there when we came back.

You also cannot take young kids into the queues on height-restricted rides. Heard a CM tell that to someone trying to take their baby in line on Space Mountain. Child-swap on most of those rides works like an extra Fast Pass. You don't switch out where you board. One person goes through, gets the pass, then the other person takes it back through the FP line.

I wasn't aware this was how it worked but good to know. When you swap, how long does it take for the second person to go through? I thought they got to go tot he front of the line? Is this correct?

Going off memory it went something like this. I will use Indiana jones ride as an example as that's the one I remember best. We went to the CM first outside the line and got a swap pass. It's been a year so I could be mistaken but I think my wife had to wait in the normal line. Either that or the fast pass line was long because my DD and I walked through tarzans tree house and still ended up sittin there for a long time before my DW finally got done and back to me and my DD. When my wife got done I think I went in the exit and went straight to the ride (a very long walk). It might have been the fast pass line I forget now. Either way it was much quicker then the normal line.

most rides will let you go straight through the exist with little or no wait. Some have you go through the fast pass line.

We went in dec and used the baby swap. Rides with a fast pass you went in the fast pass line ones with out fast pass (Matterhorn) they opened the line things and put us in front of the line. the card is good for 2 people so 2 people could stay behind and ride together as well.
