We have a Phil and Ted's that we used for our trip last year, but last year #2 dd was still in the oven. We never had a problem rolling the stroller on the monorail, but did find that at times it was cumbersome on the bus. So, we're thinking of buying a Maclaren twin of some sort. The second seat on the Phil and Ted's doesn't allow for a total collapse of the stroller and we think this will make it even more cumbersome. Anyone use a Phil and Ted's with doubles seat with no complaints? Any other good quality umbrellas out there I should consider?

Me! I don't understand why yours didn't collapse all the way. We have the Sport with the doubles kit and attached the double seat to the front and it folded up all the way. Do you have a different model maybe?

We brought both the MacLaren Twin techno and the Phil and Ted's (we drive so we had the space for two strollers) and used the MacLaren once. The Phil and Ted's was wonderful and we got so many compliments on it. I love that stroller. I'd sell the MacLaren on ebay but they just don't fetch enough money for it to be worth it to me.

Good luck!

Ours folds up all the way with the doubles seat on the front as well, but our little one will be 7 months when we go and won't need or want to lie flat, so with the double seat in the back, it does not collapse fully. Anyone use their Phil and Ted's on the buses this way?

We didn't use ours that way either. We just switched it to the front for the busses and swapped it around when we got off.

The Maclaren twin is supposed to be excellent and its very lightweight and easy to carry around. I would recommend something like that rather than a bigger stroller.

I guess I don't "get" the Phil and Ted Stroller with two children. Unless the child in the back is sleeping, wouldn't they miss out on seeing everything? And there is so much for little ones to look at at Disneyworld, even if they are little. (Also, they just seem so low to the ground for me.)

If I had two children (I only have one right now, so this is projecting), I'd either get a Maclarean side by side or use two single Maclareans. I love my Triumph. Last resort, I'd use a double that the back child sat higher so they could look around and see what was in front of them (though in general I'm against BIG strollers). JMHO.

I just purchased the peg perego aria double side by side. My dd will also be 7 months come our September trip. It's only 16 pounds. I only paid 170.00 shipped today. It was 1/2 off it is the 2007 model instead of 2008 but it looks the same.
