We are going in Oct and are concerned about the strollers. Should we rent or bring 2 stroller from home? We have a triplet stroller but in no way think of bringing that. It doesn't collapse and we are staying at a BWV so we would be using the bus/boat transportation. Any advice what to bring or rent? The girls should all be around 30lbs. each by Oct.

Thanks!

Hi,

Congratulations on your triplets. We took ours for the first time when they were 3 1/2 yrs, not sure how much they weighed. We found using one umbrella from home & renting a double stroller worked the best. Ours did not need to lay down, so the lack of recline was not an issue. Good luck. How old are they? Ours are now 14 (as of Monday the 28th), far past 30lbs. lol

I also have triplets and we went this past Nov and stayed at BWV, they were just over 2 1/2. We brought a double, and single umbrella stroller. This worked great for the airport. We walked to EPCOT and to MGM. We also would walk around the boardwalk at night. HTH

Hi Dee
I can't believe your guys are going to be 14. Mine will be 3 tomorrow (22). This potty training thing is kicking my butt lol

That is the double umbrella we have. It is great I was surprised that my kids fell asleep in the sollers and then we would just recline them. it worked really well.

My twins are 2, one weighs about 34 lbs and the other about 28 lbs. With the Kolcraft double unbrella stroller will I be able to use the recline position for them? Also, is there a place on the stroller to put my backpack? I don't want to be walking around all day with it on my back.

Last time we went to WDW we brought our DuoGlider and it was a real pain getting it on and off the buses.

Thanks! :flower:

hi.

we went in nov. with our just-turned-2 y.o.s (and my parents and in-laws). we bought 3 nice umbrella strollers for the trip (plus the connectors to put 2 of them together), but my kids didn't seem to like them much. at the time, we used our peg or wagon at home, so i think the change in transportation was just one more adjustment they had to make while there. it was also an adjustment for us, too, though, with all of the extra hassle of 3 separate strollers! the umbrella strollers did make it easy to get on and off the buses, though.

this trip coming up in may, we'll take the 3 umbrella strollers, plus our runabout and plan on using the runabout most frequently. we'll be at the poly, so we'll use the monorail for MK and drive to the other parks (which we found to be easiest on our last trip).

have a WONDERFUL WONDERFUL WONDERFUL time!
