:wave2: Hi Beth,
Congrats on the new nephew :bounce: ! I just love new babies :D . I'm so happy to hear things are looking up for you and your family right now ::yes:: .

Wishing you a great day :sunny: !

Yesterday was a mixed bag. We went to Grand Rapids to meet Camden. He is very cute, and Kate is enchanted. She did very well. On the way home, there was a hazmat spill/accident. It closed down the highway. Katie and I spent 3 1/2 hours just sitting in the middle of farm country with nowhere to go. It took a total of 5.5 hours to get home. Katie even got to pee at the side of the road. She was very good. About 1 hour into sitting there TOM showed up:rolleyes:
I came home and self medicated with B&J lc ice cream. Today I am incredibly bloated, but no cramps, so life is good. I am:drinking: :drinking: :drinking: :drinking: :drinking: :drinking: my water. i did 3 weight circuits and 45 minutes on the treadmill today at the Y. Food today is OP so far. I hope to get to journals tonight.
Beth

What exciting news!! A new nephew, a new car, & a raise!

Great job on staying OP & getting your exercise in today.

Thanks Beth for your support. Really I needed someone to lean on. I knew you would understand. I also self medicated, but with M&M's, peanut and plain! At least you had lc icecream! Ah, tomorrow is another day!;)

Hi Guys,

I have a couple of minutes before taking Katie to camp. I am going to do an hour on the treadmill hills program. If I am able to do more, I'll head to the recumbant bike. We'll see. I need to clean the house because the exterminators come tomorrow. I need to move everything away form the walls. DH is bringing dinner home, and I will probably do grocery shopping after katie is in bed. I won't get to work out tomorrow because the exterminators are coming. This also means that katie will be at the Y by herself. I'll just have to trust the counsellors to keep her safe. Have a good one.
Beth

You have a lot on your plate today! Be sure to take a minute to breathe!

Warn the counselors of your not being able to stay at the YMCA. I'm sure they will provide a safe environment for Katie.

Good morning, Beth! Was that you I saw driving around in a beauty of an SUV, thin and fit as can be with a big fat wallet?:p
You're an exercising machine, woman, and I'm humbly bowing at your feet, princess: Beth of the Treadmill.:worship: You're walking royalty to me, honey! I can only imagine the hills program; give me flat and straight any day.

Glad you survived the traffic jam--your Katie is a real trooper. :p

Have a good Tuesday, Beth, and thank you for all the kindness and prayers you've sent my way.

Erin

Beth, the way you handle all the stresses in your life is inspiring! You seem to take all the bumps in the road in stride - like that tie-up on the highway. You made the most of a bad situation and got through it. That extra lc ice cream wasn't so bad, especially with all the exercise you're doing!

Hope your Tuesday is filled with smiles, Beth! :sunny:

Congrats on your raise - $1 an hour is very good! Now save it for WDW...and that is an order. Congrats on the new car too. I bet it feels good to have one that is running and safe. And congrats on the new nephew - I hope he gives his mother as much trouble as my nieces give their mother! (My nieces are angels - but it's fun to watch the payback too.)

and especially a big congrats for Katie for being brave and peeing on the side of the road! What a trooper!

Hi Beth,
Stopping by to WISH you a great evening! I hope you get a chance to relax and enjoy!::yes::

Tracy:wave2:

I won't be on the boards today. My computer is hosed, and judging by the cursing my husband has been doing, I'm not sure when it will be fixed. He will let me use his baby for 1 post a day until it is fixed. He is a little possessive of his supermachine.

Yesterday was awful. I went to the Y and did my 60 minutes on the treaddie-4 miles hills. I had been on the bike for 2 minutes when the fire alarm rang. I took it as a sign from God that I wasn't supposed to do anymore. Turns out one of the campers pulled the alarm, so he could see the firetrucks again. I didn't have a snack after working out, and when I picked Katie up from camp, she wanted blueberry pancakes. Well, I ate 4 of them. Qbout the only thing I can say is that I didn't eat any syrup. Rest of the day is OP.

I am stuck at home waiting for the exterminators, so I won't get to work out this morning. I will either go for a walk or do my WATP tape this evening. It is raining here, and it doesn't look like it will stop. Rain and no WISHING. On the up side, I should get a ton accomplished today.

I am feeling much more in control. I think the TOM craziness is on the downward turn, and thank God for small favors. I just wish the Whoosh Fairy would show up. There is no way I am going near a scale any time soon. I will be drowning myself in water today. I hope to get back on the boards tonight, if not I'll check in in the morning. I hhope today goes well for all.
Beth

Hi Beth,
Are you doing this to your computer now? :badpc: I hope Won is able to fix it for you soon. I feel lost when I can't DIS.:teeth:

Those blueberry pancakes sound yummy right now! I bet Katie loved them.::yes:: With all of that work you did on the treadmill yesterday, I bet those pancakes burned right off! Keep up the good work, Beth!

It's been raining here in Ohio too. Plus, the humidity is sky high as well. Whew! Relief is on the way or so the forecasters say.;) Since you'll be waiting for the exterminators today and it's raining outside, maybe you can get a good book in. Whatever you choose to do, I hope it's a relaxing and wonderful day for you!

Take care,
Tracy:umbrella:

Sorry about the computer. I have that love/hate relationship with my computer as well. I feel lost without it but know I can get alot accomplished when it is down and out. Don't worry about the pancakes. You worked out hard and enjoyed some time with your daughter. Have a great day.:D

 Hi, Beth. Sorry about the computer problems. That's a bummer. I sure know how that goes. . .

MMMM, blueberry pancakes, but without syrup? Now THAT'S the mark of a strong woman. After 4 miles of hills you were due for a pancake or four (even if it was a dry one:rolleyes: ).

Have a good day and drink!:drinking1
Erin

Beth,

Well congrats on all the excersise, I can't get past a mile. So you should really be proud of your self.

The pancakes on the other hand have me drooling and I will say no more, you know where you went wrong. So here is a little pixy dust your way to pick up the rest of you week.

Good luck on the computer

Kristin:crazy:

Beth- Hooray for your sister and her baby boy! And for all of your family for such a blessing. Camden is a semi-popular name here in Baltimore probably because of the Oriole's stadium "Camden Yards" I know 2 boys and 1 girl (called Cammy) with the name all under age 5.

Also I am glad you got a nice new SUV. Sounds great. I hope your computer (sorry, I mean Won's computer) will be fixed up soon.

Also- congrats on the raise!

Good things do come in 3s, don't they?
Have a great Thurday!
Mary
:D

Won is my hero. I am back online. I did ok today. I needed a coffee this afternoon, but other than that I was OP. I did get my walk in 6.3 miles in 1 hour and 44 minutes. I could have done better, but the air quality today was horrible. I spent the entire time thinking that this would be a perfect time for PG to run me down. I am seriously becoming paranoid.

I got a lot of things done around the house, so I guess that the computer being down was an ok thing. I will be hitting journals tomorrow. I missed you guys.
Beth
