I'm back in the land of the living, just barely.;) Went to work on Friday, and then I had training. It was supposed to be 1.5-2 hours. They Lied. It was 4 hours. I worked for 21 hours. :confused: Davonn kept kicking me to keep me awake. It was ridiculous. I was starving, and stopped at Wendy's on the way home. I had 2 jr bacon cheeseburgers then went home. I had to play with Katie for 30 minutes, and then went to bed. I slept until 6AM. Tons of sleep, but I felt hungover. I took Katie to early mass. Then we Picked up Won and drove to Lansing to meet my family. 1.5 hours in the car each way. Lunch at Outback. I had salad, Outback special, and steamed veggies. Did a little shopping, and then headed to my in'laws. It was Won's aunt's bday. I had a little bogoghi, shrimp and spinach. I took a 2 mile walk when we finally got home.

Today, I'm going in to Curves. It is weight and measurement time. I can't workout though. I'll go for a walk. I'm hoping to do 3 miles. My blessing were counted, I've had 1 liter h2O with my meds.Breakfast was peanut butter toast with vanilla coffee.

I've got to do a couple of things before I can hit journals, but I should have time to catch up today. have a good one.

okay beth, i just finally got a chance to get caught up with your journal! i know i'm way late, but i wanted to add to the relief that you got great news from the doctor's! no cancer, thank goodness! i'm so relieved. of course, i know you still have the pituitary to worry about, but at least it seems like it will be much less of a problem.

21 hours straight of working this weekend! :eek: how you do it girl, i will never know! good thing you packed yourself a suitcase worth of food :p

also, congrats on the pound loss you recorded on weigh in day :bounce: , what a great accomplishment to have even while you are having to take it easy and continue recovering ::yes::

good luck at curves today, i hope you have a wonderfullly restful day :sunny:

I'm greedy, I admit it. I went to Curves to be weighed and measured. I've lost 7.5 pounds with 6 of those pounds being fat. Great news! I can also claim my 45 # clippie, and I met my goal fo the April challenge. I'm really happy, but I didn't lose a mm when they measured me. How can I lose 7 pounds and not show ANY change in measurements? I always say I'd rather have the inches over the pounds, but I want Both! Ok, I'm done being ridiculous. I am happy that I have lost the weight.

I did take a walk. 2.5 miles. I need to make a new set for my MP3 player. I'll work that over the next couple of days.
Lunch was turkey and cheese rollups.
Dinner was chicken breast and berries and whipped cream.

I have had 4 liters of water today.

We are having friends over on Wednesday. I need to clean the house tomorrow, take Katie to dance classes, go to the grocery store, make dinner, and get my walk in. I also hope to do some DIS tomorrow.

Hi everyone,

I'm all done being ungrateful, and I'm very excited about my new clippie. Last night I was frustrated with DH, and just switched it to my measurements. Things are back in perspective.

I won't have much time today to DIS. I've taken a 2 mile walk, taken my meds, counted my blessings, and eaten breakfast.

Breakfast was a Morning Start bar, tea, and 1 liter of water.

I'd like to drink 4 liters today, and go for another walk this evening. We'll see how much I accomplish during the day.

I probably won't get to many journals today. Please know that I am thinking about all of you.

What an inspiration you are! And you made your April 1st challenge! :earseek: I am NO WHERE near making mine, so I guess i'm a little jealous. That is okay though, because I have set my sights on July 4th. ::yes:: My shorts are going to fit by then and I will be SO much healthier!:hyper:

Thanks everyone. I'm still excited about my shiny new clippie. I think my reward will be a night out with the girls. Now we just need to coordinate schedules. I accomplished all my goals yesterday, and I'm off to a good start today. Meds taken, blessings counted, 1.5 liters so far this AM, and I walkeed 1.5 miles this AM. Please note I did my walk in the rain. I was so tempted to stay in bed when I heard the rain.
Breakfast was my usual tea and pb toast.
Lunch will probably be an Atkins bar and some veggies.
I've got people over for dinner tonight. Menu follows:
Salad, cheese breadsticks for the guests, parmesan cheese stuffed chicken, angel hair pasta for guests, spaghetti squash for me, garlic/cheese zucchini, and cheesecake for dessewrt.

Tons to do today. I still need to clean the bathrooms and vaccum. Cheesecake is made. I need to prepare the rest of the food though. I'll try to get to journals today.


Now, for the important stuff, AI. I thought that Latoya, George, and Fantasia (yes, I said Fantasia) Did the best. I figured that they have plenty of support, so I voted for Jennifer. She doesn;t seem to have a lot of support, and we need to help our divas. I hope the Weasley gets voted off. He did really badly last night, IMHO. I don't think he should have made it this far anyway.

Whew! Sounds like you have a busy day ahead of you! You are doing a great job getting your exercise in (even in the rain) and with your food choices. Plus, you have that shiny, new clippie and you made your April 1st challenge! I am very proud of you, Beth! And a girls night out as a reward sounds like fun!

Your dinner sounds so good! I've been sick the last couple of days and my mouth is watering! Yummy! If you have any leftovers, I'll be more than happy to take them off of your hands.;)

As for AI, I agree with you completely. Latoya, George, and Fantasia did really well. I thought the girl with the flower in her hair (can't remember her name) did well too.
