I saw on the web this morning where one of the unions at WDW has authorized their management to call a strike. The current contract extension ends "the first week of December".

Anyone have some news on this? My wife and I will be at WDW the week of 12/5. I not sure what to make of this...

Thanks

I found the info on the USA Today web site in their Travel section. Here's a quote:

"Leaders of Walt Disney World's largest union group said Thursday they will ask members to reject for a third time the company's contract proposal and authorize them to call a strike if further negotiations or mediation fail."

As of last night the above link is accurate. They have come to an agreement that the Union is going to ask it's members to vote yes on the proposal.
