stride rite shoe stores

Hi! Not sure if this is place for this question or not ... our local department store is having BIG sale and the stride rite shoes I would like are on sale for $19 plus extra % off. I don't really like the way the shoe people at that store are ... do the Stride Rite stores ever match prices? Does anyone know? OR does anyone know where I would find a coupon for Stride Rite stores? I had one, but it expired a few weeks ago! Thanks!

I know our local Stride Rite stores are all independently owned, so they will not match prices. They have never offered coupons, but will occasionally have a sale.

I don't think they will match prices either. However, I just found out that there's a Stride Rite warehouse sale at a Expo center nearby in a few weeks...I'm hoping to pick up some deals there. Anybody ever been to one?

Our local Picture People sometimes has a $5 off coupon for Stride Rite there. There is a Stride Rite in the mall just a door or two down though.

Is there an outlet near you? We just got DS a couple of pairs when we were in St. Augustine.

I tried to take my stride rite shoes that had came apart back and they said they wouldnt guarentee them because i bought them at a department store. as well as each store will only take back ones they sold there. last time i bought stride rite.

I received coupons in the mail from them.. I think I got one recently too. hmm I have to find that as my youngestt DD needs a pair of sandals. I started receiving coupons in the mail after I bought my first pair at the mall apparently they put me on their mailing lists..

I think they send coupons if you put yourself on the stores mailing list.

I have never heard of them matching prices.

I spend about that for shoes at our Stride Rite outlet. Do you have an outlet nearby? If you go to the Stride Rite website and search for a store, some of them are labeled outlets - that's where the deals are at. They usually sell last year's styles (differences are minor from this year), brand new. Not as many sizes to choose from, though.
