*Strictly Come Dancing 2009 ~ Inc. SPOILERS!!*

Loved Vincent and Flavia's dance :thumbsup2

::yes:: I did too. It must be quite hard for them dancing together now.

There definately seems to be something going on between Ali & Brian....maybe Joanne could get all the goss? ;)

Grrrrrrr at the bbc, they have messed up my viewing timings now :sad2:

I don't think they should have scheduled two live programmes back to back like that.

Anyway if you missed the ending you might also have missed Brucie telling us that Strictly starts at 7 o'clock next week.

ETA Whoops, I think I've missed you.

And I love my BBC iPlayer again this week - too much of a social life I have :lmao:

I have caught up again, here's my thoughts after this week:

Loved - Phil Tufnell, again. Such grace and I do believe he's getting better with each week. I really enjoyed Zoe this week too, totally shocked she was in the bottom two! :scared1:

Needs to improve - Liala was shocking this week, terrible at Latin! :guilty: I was very surprised she didn't get into the last two. I thought Ali looked extremely uncomfortable too. I do wish they'd stop picking up on her 'relationship' with Brian, I think its affecting her performance and how close she wants to get to him.

Great Saturday night viewing - maybe next week I'll be able to watch it live!

I don't think that was totally her fault as Anton looked like he was "dad dancing" and he's the professional!

Hmmmm maybe, but I thought it looked like he was just trying to drag her around and get her through the routine. Just hope she's waltzing next week! :lmao:

Flavia and Vincent's dance was simply stunning, real wow factor of the show.
I didn't like the Spandau Ballet performance, I thought it was a real durge.

:lmao::lmao: My friend is very discreet and rarely gossips about D&L, I know that now they are both out of the competition it's much less intense for them they only have to reherse one or two group dances, she says they're getting "under her feet" as she works from their house and she doesn't get to watch neighbours with her lunch anymore:lmao:

I love Phil Tufnell too, I think he's the real surprise this year.

I heard he has got a new girlfriend now and she is pregnant, so he didn't pine for her for very long.

Vincent had a relationship with Kristina whilst his partner was pregnant earlier this year, but I think baby has been born now and they are back together.

I agree, I thought she was awful this week.

Zoe really didn't deserve to be in the dance off but at least it meant that it got rid of Joe and Kristina:thumbsup2

I agree with the comments about Anton's dancing, I thought it was truly awful for a professional.

Vincent seems to have had a relationship with almost everyone from what I've read but I still like him!!!

Joe gone - hurray:banana::banana::banana:

Ali and Brian - leave the personal comments alone please and let them get on with the dancing

Zoe - go girl, no way should you have been in the bottom two

What did you think of Brendan's tantrum - the comments were over the top about a bush kangaroo but he shouldnt' have stormed out like a spoiled brat.

Another Strictly Addict here lol :goodvibes.

Just wanted to say Anton is absolutely top rate at Ballroom but his Latin leaves ALOT to be desired. It wasn't just that he was dragging Laila around in that Jive, he was struggling (well, for a pro at least) too.

Also, is it just me or does all this romantic stuff between celebs and pro's bug anyone else? It kind of reminds me of Big Brother - the first relationship was with Helen and Paul and it was all sweet and genuine and then after that future contestants seemed to think it would help in the voting stakes so then you got the likes of Sasha and Maxwell and so on and so forth trying to monopolize on the love factor. With Strictly, you had Brendan and Natasha then Flavia and Matt with the latter at least trying to be somewhat discreet (well, Flavia anyway :rotfl2:) but now its like they are all at it. And I'm sorry, it does come across as fake. Also I hate the way things are carefully edited to make it look like something is going on when its not. Anyone remember Tess a couple of weeks ago trying to encourage people to vote by saying "Ali and Brian absolutely LOVE working together so to keep them in the competition dial ...", the double-entendre was truly cringe-worthy. If I truly was falling for someone and it was reciprocated, the last thing I would want would be for the whole thing to be played out on national television. OK, off my high horse now lol! :rolleyes1

Anyone watching tonight?

Jade was fantastic for me! Thought she did brilliantly and that dress  Loved her tonight! I think Ian did a fantastic job with her this week. Totally stunned she was in the bottom two! :confused3

Ali looked much more relaxed with Brian tonight, which was nice to see. Lovely dance too, deserved the top spot!

My usual favourites Ricky W, Phil and Chris also were great! :thumbsup2

So pleased that Jo Wood has finally gone - Brendon's voting ladies must have gone on a night out tonight, thank the lord!

Why was Brian flirting with Alesha?

The right couple went. I was afraid that she'd be in a lot longer now that the "underdog" vote isn't being split with Joe.

I'm very unipressed with Anton.

I'm also beginning to realise it's not just the celebrities' talent that counts a professional that is a good teacher makes a huge difference.

Just caught up with last nights SCD

I really enjoyed Chris's dance, Tuffers was a bit of a let down, Craig (oh dear :( ), Ricky G was entertaining, Ricky W was fun and energetic, Jo  Ali's was very nice too

I'm so pleased that Jo has finally gone, but shocked that Jade was in the bottom two

Anton's a funny one, he looks good when they're doing a ballroom dance, but he looks weird doing the latin one's .. do you think he's just getting a bit too old ??? :confused3

How many of the other dancers rehearse wearing shirt and tie???

Just a few rants tonight ...

Have the BBC explained how the phone vote is working this year? I was so surprised to see such talented dancers in the dance off, but then again Ali irritates me rather a lot.

I was a bit annoyed too by so many close ups of the dancers - I'd like to see their feet more.

And a wow - Ricky W and Natalie were sooooo good!

I too was surprised by who was in the dance off, such a shame when there are clearly far worse dancers.

As for Ricky W and Natalie.... WOW, they were fab weren't they ::yes::

I just want to say that I thought the prefessional dancers were fab last night but sadly the Bee Gees were awful, their miming was awful, they looked like they were just going through the motions. Considering that segment of the show is recorded I would have thought they could have gone for another take.

I was thinking the same last night. The singers that perform during the dances are always so good compared with the guests. Do the guests think they're going to get an easy show, are they past it or don't they rehearse enough for the sound team to set things up to suit them?
