won't hurt the baby right? I am a teacher and was doing a bulletin board today and had to reach up high on my tip-toes. I really didn't want to risk standing on a little chair. I came home tonight and am having some pain on my left side close to my belly button and am now worried. I also have a cold and have been sneezing a lot.

Everything should be okay, right?

You're fine.

I had a lady telling what they used to say about reaching up high during pregnancy when I was pregnant (old wives tale). Terrible, and I will spare you the details and hope everyone else does too.

Hope your cold goes away soon.

Its just those lovely round ligament pains. I get them a lot after doing house work. How are far along are you?

I would go with old wives tale also.

If this is your first baby, more than likely your are feeling the ligament pain. Its normal, and with the first baby much more noticeable during your pregnancy. Next time you probably won't notice as much! Add in a cold with possible sneezing and coughing I would say you will be fine.

But as with everything, you are feeling uncomfortable or in extreme pain, consult with your dr. Since I am not one, it would not help to try and tell you this is normal or abnormal!

I hope all is well!

Kelly
