Stressing over stroller rental...

I booked a reservation with Apple Strollers but after reading recent reviews I am freaking out. I've seen people say they paid and still got cancelled. We will be there from Dec 1-Dec7. I need a reliable place to rent from that isn't going to charge an arm and leg. Who do you use? Do any of them take paypal for payment?

I have been using them for years for ECV and last May for stroller rental and they have been very reliable and excellent service

I used them in July and didn't have a problem at all. I would just call them a week before you go just to confirm your reservation.

I am also going down the first week of December and wanted to rent from Apple, but I just noticed on their website a small note under the dates that states they are fully booked through most of the first week of December even though it allows you to put in earlier dates. Possibly that is why the other ones were cancelled. Too bad as it seems like a good place from the majority of reviews I have read and the price is amazing. I will keep them in mind and rent earlier for future trips.

As for a replacement company to go with, the disABILITIES FAQ on this forum really helped me out. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=595713 There are only a few companies Disney lets deliver to the hotels if you are not there (All other companies can deliver but must have you present). Check out the first page, post 2, almost at the end of the post for the companies (also note the companies right above in the wheelchair section as most of them also rent strollers). I have found on DisBoards a lot of positive reviews for all of the stroller places, and almost all of the wheelchair companies. They all offer exactly the same stroller (City Mini with the same accessories), although some do offer other strollers if you really want something different. I would just go where you can find the best price and availability. See you there. I'll be the one with the City Mini stroller.

I'm currently booked through them as well for next week. After reading the negative reviews I was really nervous and I am still a little worried about it but I feel more comfortable after calling and speaking with them. It also helped hearing about other peoples positive reviews. So far we still have our stroller order and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't get canceled. When I spoke to them on the phone they said they were canceling ones that didn't have a credit card on the reservation. I'll call again a couple of days before our trip just to be sure it's still there too, I'd rather not be surprised when we check in if they do cancel.

I went ahead and stuck with Apple. I just hope we end up with a stroller when we get there.

We used kingdom strollers last time and have booked them again for our trip next month. Excellent service.
