Strategy of PS question...

I have 2 PS arrangements for our 7 day trip in August. So far I made the reservations so that we have dinner in a park that is having the late evening hours that night. Do you think this is wise, or will it be too crowded in a late evening hour park? I'm not sure if I should go to the park with the late evening hour or go to another park to avoid the crowds. Let me know what worked for you guys before I set up any of our other plans!
So far we've got The Garden Grill at the Land and Cindarella's Royal Table for dinner (I know there are no characters for dinner).

If you think you will want some of the more popular restaurants, like Le Cellier or some of the character meals, you'll want to get PS or ADR (whatever) now. We saw lots of people turned away from Le Cellier for dinner and we dined early. They were told no walkins at all for the evening.

Basically, we avoid the parks that have the extra hours whether they are at night or in the morning, altogether. We always go contrary to those extra hours.

It depends on when in August you are going. Around the middle of the month schools in the South open so the crowds get smaller. If it's the first two weeks I would avoid the evening EMH parks except for the Animal Kingdom. Many people leave the AK by mid to late afternoon so even the EMH should not have a major impact.

We're leaving 8/13. The only EMH night I planned was AK. I can't stand the thought of being there is the middle of the day.

I agree with the suggestion to avoid the evening EMH park except for Animal Kingdom. We had a great time at AK during evening EMH and felt like we had the park practically to ourselves. The other parks are so crowded during evening EMH though that it's not worth doing. I still enjoy morning EMH at MK and MGM, but not evening.
