We will be going to DCA on Wednesday February 17. We are staying at grand Californian so we get into DCA early that Morning.

I have two possible strategies and would like to know which would be best.

One:

Go straight to Radiator Springs Racers. Then go to TSMM.

Two:

Go straight to TSMM Then, go to Radiator Springs Racers. My thinking is that most people will go to Cars Land first and then to TSMM so we would have a shorter line at Radiator Springs as everyone will have ridden it already.

Thoughts?

Thank you.

Our experience has been once the radiator springs line forms, it doesn't get shorter as more people keep coming. I'm in the be at the gates before they open for early entry and go to RSR first. If it's down, go to TSMM and head back to get a RSE factors around the 45 minute mark.

I agree with the PP. I'd go to RSR first, then head to TSMM. Usually the TSMM line doesn't get all that bad even towards the end of EMH (I think I've had a 10-15min wait max, and that was on a busy weekend/holiday Monday with the Star Wars half marathon crowd), but not everyone gets into the park right at the beginning of the EMH, and almost everyone who comes in after the opening will be headed to RSR.

I will say though, when we were there last Wednesday, the line for RSR had a posted wait time of 15 mins in the middle of the day!!! We didn't believe it, but we went through the single rider line and it looked legit, the line was the shortest I've ever seen it, it was crazy!

We always use RSR's SR line, so it doesn't really matter to us when we go there.

For EMH we hit TSMM first.

We always do TSMM first, maybe twice! Then run back up for RSR FP'S. We've never been through the RSR stand by line, actually!

Make sure you get a night ride in on RSR, too! It's beautiful! That usually involves a runner grabbing the group's FP'S around noon.

Have fun planning!
