Have you taken a close look at your pictures? Did you happen to notice that the one constant, in every photograph, is the same guy is in the background of every photo. When I was asked, "why do you do that?" For me it's easy, when aliens invade earth and they snatch up everyone's photo album and they see the same person in every picture.....well, their going to think this person must be important. After all he is in every photo. :jester:

Sometimes, these boards can get a bit too serious. Just a try at a little levity. :teeth:

Just remember, 1 muscle to smile....17 to frown! If you choose the later then we know your into exercising. ::yes::

I actually know someone who does "this". I have this uncle (he's somewhat disturbed :p ) Anyhow, he can make a day at the theme parks of following a family around "on the sly" just to stand in the background of all their pictures.

He's the same uncle that used to bring a pocket full of nuts and bolts to theme parks. Then when we'd go on a ride-- he'd tell all the young neices and nephews that they were from the ride and it was probably gonna crash.

Once he was on a roller coaster and he had 2 young adult girls in front of him. It was the style where you have 2 rows in each car. Anyhow he had a huge bolt with him and when they were going up that first big hill he tapped the girls on the shoulder and told them it was from the connection behind them. They were hysterical until they got off the ride and he told them he was joking.

I told you he's just not right!

This guy is my hero!

LOL I love the thought of following a family around so that you are in all their pictures....that is so funny.
If I were with him I would laugh so hard everytime the family went to take a picture! :wave2:

It is 'kind of' funny, but on the other side....a friend of mine took her daughter to Disney World with her husband and had a couple of pictures taken with her and her daughter in front of the castle. Well, someone stood in the background, being funny, and the pictures were ruined in her mind. She passed away a couple of months ago. I guess on the other side you never know what is going on with someone else, their may be more than meets the eye.

Probably an apocryphal story...

A young woman is sunning herself on a beach. She gets up, hides her camera inside her towel and goes into the sea. Two young men walk up. They unwrap her towel and take the camera. One takes off his swimming costume and stands there naked, with just her towel draped around his shoulders. His friend takes a picture with her camera. He gets dressed, they roll her camera back into her towel and walk off.

Do not like it when RUDE people RUIN my photo's by trying to be funny.  Encountered this in 1996-1999 with my kids with characters, most of my Photo's were ruined due to these people. Now I make sure NO-ONE is in the background when taking photos.:o

I understand how that could make you feel, but it's very difficult to get any Disney photos without people in the background. Near the castle almost impossible.

This just goes to prove my point. This post started out as just a joke. I did not do what I said in the OP. I was just in a good mood and wanted to try a light moment. You know.....taking a break from being serious. And low and behold, instead of taking this for what it's worth ( not much ). People start talking about how this person or that one ruin their pictures. Some people are not happy....unless they are unhappy.

In closing, I will say," just have a day !"

Good, Bad or indifferent. :grouphug:

Folks, ya gotta lighten up. This is Disney. I know that there are circumstances that make a ruined photo catastrophic, but come on. Unless you rent out the MK for the whole day, there is a "slight chance" that someone else will be in your pictures. Let's all just calm down and go back to planning our vacations, even if they are months away. I figure if I'm not in WDW, I'm planning how to get there.

I don't think the posters are upset that there are other people in the photos. they ARE upset that these people have noticed them taking the picture, so they stop and wave, make silly faces or bunny ears...thus ruining the photo. If the person were to just stand there, or walk out of the way, it would be fine, but to intentionally ruin someone's photo is just mean. Why not offer to take the photo for them so the whole family can be in it!?

On the lighter note, in October, we took pictures of Spectro, only to find out that a bald man in front of us was shining in EVERY picture! I stratigically scrapbooked him out of my photos thanks to some cutting and stickers! If aliens got my book, they would be hunting him down!

Make it a zippity do da day!

Thats exactly what I was saying, I went to take a Pic of my Kids with Mickey, and some*&&%%% RAN into the Picture and gave the middle finger in the background! Didn't notice till after I got the Pics developed. He kept right on running, or I would have caught up to him and showed him where to PUT the finger! Since going to WDW lately, I haven't noticed this too much, usually people stop and let the person taking the picture do so.:o

You folks are waaay to uptight. The whole point of the post was that it , y'know, THE POST, was supposed to make us laugh a little. THAT was it. Not the "horror stories" about people who, Heaven forbid, MAKE RABBIT EARS. Oh, the humanity! I say again, lighten up. It was a joke. You know, haha? If you don't believe me, go back and read the original poster.

Thank You, FeePeeDisney!

Some of us ...... do get it.

May a smile be your umbrella.

And may you also get wet, when it rains.

I got it ..... and loved it.

After reading a number of posts recently that seem to be starting pleasant and then turning waaaay too heavy & deep, I thought this was hilarious. - Until again, it got way too heavy & deep.

Anyway OP thanks for the original post and kilee - your uncle rocks.

I think it is WAY too funny and for those of you who could not see that this was posted purely for fun and humor I feel sorry for you. What a miserable exsistance.:jumping2: :jumping2: :jumping2: :jumping2: :jumping2: :jumping2: :jumping2: :jumping2: :jumping2: :jumping2:

I agree with the humor of the OP, but there is also some humor in all the complaining about the complaining. I'm sure I'll be flamed now, but there seems more stress in those telling everyone else to lighten up.....just MHO
