Strategy for arriving to park late?

We will be driving in from San Digo on Sunday Sept. 30th so may not get to the parks until around 10am....by the time we park etc. The pakrs open at 8am that day.

I am wondering if we should bother rushing over to Cars Land to try and get fast passes. With people who will be there super early and all I have read about fast passes being gone by that time...what do you think our best strategy would be?

We will also be there on Monday but staying off site so no early entry. Just a 2 day visit and I don't want to waste valuable time rushing to Cars Land if it will be super crowded and fast passes gone by then.

I realize no one knows for certain...but just wanting some more expert advice...I could use it..this will be our first visit. When we go to WDW...we are there when it opens. but will not be possible this time.

Thanks!

I would check when you get there and see if fastpasses are gone (they were usually gone by 10 am in the summer, but now that it's not as crowded there might still be some until 11ish). If there aren't any fastpasses left, then check the single rider line...it's usually not more than 45 minutes. :thumbsup2

Thanks....I guess the only way to figure out if there are fp's left is to go there and see.

We were there Thurs & Fri. of labor day weekend & rode RSR late due to my husband coming in late it took us a little less than an hour to ride it at 5pm. If you watch the board for wait times you it changes through out the day hope you have a wonderful visit.

I'm interested in this too. We won't be there until October and we will be arriving late morning on Sunday. Do we even bother rushing over to RSR? We plan to be there on Monday, but I always like to try as soon as I can to ride the must do rides. We'll just have to see? :confused3
