Strategies for holding multiple fast passes?

Hello
I have read in a few threads that people “stock up” on fast passes in Max pass (e.g.) during mid-day breaks or at the beginning of the day. How do you do this? Could someone give examples of how to hold multiples? It would be really helpful to learn timing people use. I’ve read several Max pass guides online but none have this level of detail/strategy.
Many thanks!

I didnt use Max pass on my more recent trip in June 2018 but I still stocked up on Fastpass. You just need to watch the return times and the windows. The trick is to pull fastpasses which have a short return time and a far return time in alternative cycles.

For example, pull Radiator Springs at 11am which has a return time of 5pm. Pull Star Tours at 1pm which could has a return time of 6pm. Pull Buzz which has a return time of 4pm. Use Buzz Fastpass right at 4pm, then pull another Buzz. Use Radiator Springs at 5pm

It just depends on what time your previous FP was for:
-can be used within the next 30 minutes: get a new FP either in 30 minutes or once you use the first one
-can be used in 30-90 minutes: get a new FP when your first FP becomes active (you don’t need to have used it first)
-can be used later than 90 minutes: get a new FP in 90 minutes.

Best strategy with Maxpass is to book in the order that they will run out. So, for example, first you get RSR for a later evening time. In 90 minutes you go back in and check what other rides have FPS available at times, say GotG, which could also not be until later. Then, 90 minutes after that, check again and book another FP. Continue for as long as FPS are available or you are on your break.

Another thing to consider is if you see a ride with FP has broken down. You can still book a FP for it for later in the day. If you get one and the ride is still broken during your redemption time you will have a multi experience pass which can be used on any ride in that park at anytime.

I actually disagree with the "book in the order they will run out" strategy" IF it sticks you with 90-minute waits in the early morning. The morning is the best time to get the "immediate" returns that can let you ride multiple FP rides in less than an hour, so I usually book those for the first couple of hours and don't book a "90 minute wait" one until at least 10:00.

Here are a couple of ways you end up with more than one FP at a time:
1. As mentioned by PPs, book ones for later in the day, and 90 minutes later, book a new one. So if you book a 6:00 return for RSR at 11:00 am, when you pull your next one 90 minutes later (at 12:30), look for something else with a 6:00 or later return time... and then 90 minutes later (at 2:00), look for something else with an evening return time... same thing at 3:30... and 5:00... in that case, you could take a break from 1-5 or something, and you'd come back with 5 evening FPs waiting to be used.
2. Book a FP at start of your FP return window when you haven't used the FP yet. We'll end up holding 3 at once a lot this way - say, at 9:20, you book Matterhorn with a 10:00-11:00 return time. At 10:00, you log in and book "It's a Small World" with a 10:10-11:10 return time. At 10:30 (30 minute minimum wait), log in and book Roger Rabbit with at 10:35-11:35 return time. Now you're holding 3 FPs for rides that are close together; you can walk over there and use all 3 (keep in mind they'll scan you in 5 minutes before and 15 minutes after the listed time).

**Note that alternatively in scenario 2, you could book that "It's a Small World" one at 10, walk over and use it as early as 10:05, and book a new one immediately. If you were in the area, that would be most efficient. If you're over at Haunted Mansion or something, it's nice to have three grouped together, waiting for you.

Hope that helps.

Read post #2 by lcp9. Item number 6 in the list talks about leveraging MP for the early part of the day.

Booking MP's with quick return times will help get lots done in a short time. Once you begin booking MP's for later times the 90minute wait kicks in.

Sorry, I should have clarified. I meant start doing the late ones when you are leaving for a break so that way you will have some ready when you return. Then the 90 minute wait won’t matter since you won’t be riding anything then anyways.

Early in the morning definitely just try for sooner FPs
