Strange things happening with the reservation system...

I noticed that there were many more openings tonight for November after the update. I manage to make ADR for 8:05 CTR Thanksgiving week and changed my Ohana dinner ADR for Thanksgiving to a more convenient time (there were several openings for Ohana for Thanksgiving!). Now everything is gone - no reservations available for anything even in February or March! I was excited that Disney was releasing more times after the update, but now I am worrying if it was just a glitch...

I am seeing a few people report grabbing dining reservations... I would be concerned too. If you are booking anything I would grab screenshots in case you don't get confirmation emails etc...

yeah, I'm annoyed with the system. I saw LOTS of ADR's, then went to take one, and right before my eyes, it said no.... now NOTHING is available. In fact, I can't even push the search for a table button. It won't even search now. SO obviously there is a glitch going on... for those that got a confirmation # for a ressie, I wouldn't be too concerned. Check it tomorrow.

I already have room and ADRs for 2nd week in Nov. I have had them for months. I just have been watching options dwindle. Now I was checking for a slight change at Jiko and there's nothing for the whole week? If people just got ADRs for restaurants like O'hana before it stopped working I would be nervous. Especially since its been down for a few days.

I was noticing this as well when making reservations this evening. I was able to snag a Le Cellier Reservation and got a confirmation number. Now when I try to get an ADR elsewhere there are no reservations available anywhere for any time at any restaurant.

Kind of hard to believe you got an ADR for Le Cellier at all. When was it for? 180 days out? Kind of wonder what is happening?

Oh wow...I saw a couple of people report getting some ADR's too. How disappointing if it's a glitch! I wonder how Disney will handle it?

I was thinking the same thing.... I leave in 20 days and I got Le Cellier for 1:30pm Lunch. I was Shocked!!
I hope it's not a glitch, but I would not be surprised if it is.

I did get a message from my TA that it was down, back up and then down again.

Those that scored some great ressies during that glitch. I would be double and triple checking they stuck! *fingers crossed*

Yeah, lst night, like 1 a.m. or so... tons of stuff was available for November. Had been trying for weeks to get a dinner in MK on the 26th - nothing anywhere.... now last night came up with multiple time choices for 5 different restaurants - including multiple CRT times. Character breakfasts - ALL were available every day I looked at, again at multiple times... even multiple times at Chef Mickey's.
Snagged my MK dinner I needed... snagged a better time for my Thanksgiving dinner.... was playng around with breakfasts and boom... site went down. Now when came back up... isback to what it's been normally, everything booked up pretty much. Looked at MK for when I got my dinner for... NOTHING avail at any restaurant, as it's been for while now - but big dfference from last night.
I did get confirmation #s and emails... so hoping the ones I got are good. Do think it is some kind of glitch though?

It felt like a dream last night - 1 AM, everyone is asleep at home, and all of these openings coming up on website. Any time you wanted, for all restaurants - unfortunately except BOG... BOG had no openings Thanksgiving week. I read other post and people were able to get few BOG ADRs in December and January, but it seemed like BOG was not available in November at least for Thanksgiving week. Then everything ended - no openings anywhere... It did seem like a glitch; in some posts people were wondering if the system would "roll back" to the previous state cancelling all ADRs made in that time period. So far it did not happen (ressies I made last night are still in the system). I cannot imagine the system "rolling back"; it forced me to cancel other ADRs I had, and those are already gone as someone else claimed them. Hopefully new ressies are safe!

that's my concern, made some new ones, forced me to cancel ones already had... which are gone now. Was switching my Ohana and Chef Mickey days... booked Chef Mickey, then went to book Ohana for the following day and poof, like you said, everything was gone. Then site was down for a while.... woke up and went back on... aha.... there was my original Ohana that was cancelled for my new Chef Mickey - put info in... and then got some error and it didn't go through, nor did it show as available any longer. About hour or so later finally it showed, and went through, so did get that back. phew!

Maybe for some reason the system had not been putting cancelled ADRs back into the system then all of a sudden did with the system upgrade?

Regardless, congrats to everyone who got something they wanted.

I just hope they don't end up with some of these places overbooked.

I still have a hunch BOG ADRs aren't making it back into the system.

Looked at my reservations for Le Cellier and Teppan Edo just now, which I got last night during the glitch, and they seem to still be there, confirmation numbers and all. I too hope this doesn't create overbooking issues.
