This might sound strange but here is my question. Can you eat on the Disney Buses? We plan to do EE and breakfast form our room. I was wondering if we left the room with a muffin and juice box and did not finish before the bus came can we finnish it on the way? I don't like to get up, but I also don't like lines either. Thanks for any help.

I don't think it would be a probably to discreetly eat something on the bus or sip a juice box. Just make sure you don't make a big production out of it. Also, keep in mind that you may have to stand if the bus is crowded, so you might want to put the food away until you get off the bus at your destination.

We have occasionally heard announcements that food and drink are not allowed on the buses. That being said, we have also observed many people who bring food and drink on the buses. However, most people we've seen actually do not eat or drink on the bus - they merely hold their food until they get off at their destinations.

I'm going to move this over to our transportation board for you.

A lot depends on the driver and the type of food you are eating. I have seen drivers refuse people with ice cream cones, cups with no lids, and a watermelon slice. Uh, yeah. I wonder why. ::::::::::said very sarcastically:::::::: Oh, and a can of Cheese Wiz and sleeve of Saltines. There's a whole story behind that one...

The juice box won't be a problem, but a muffin not in a baggie very likely might be.

A lot of times you have to stand. And with the corners those busses take, there is no way you are going to stand holding on to a juice box and muffin, without someone wearing it.

Please don't take offense to what I'm going to say next--it's meant to help you enjoy your trip, not criticize...

It only takes a minute to eat a muffin and finish a juice box. Why not just make life easier and finish breakfast before leaving your room? There is nothing in a theme park that won't be there if you take the next bus. Trust me. I've been going to WDW for 22 years. I've learned that "Commando Style Touring" wears you out, you miss some of the best things, and end up with indigestion.

My father is the Bus Coordinator at Disney and he says the policy is "no eating or drinking" on the bus....People still do it, but it is not allowed as far as Disney's policies go...
