Strange question about restaurants

For our day at HS, I chose 50's PTC (sorry I don't know the abbreviations everyone uses), based on the offerings.

I really don't want two big sit-down meals, but was trying to get a second restaurant booked for dinner, just for the experience. No availability. Would they let us (dh, dd, me) in just to look at it, you think?

Many restaurants have bars/lounges so just go in and order a drink or snack. Or just saunter pirate:

I would keep trying for Sci-Fi and maybe just order dessert at 50's. The food at 50's is pretty bad, IMHO.
Well we don't have a reservation at Sci Fi. We have one at 50's. Food, understandably, is subjective. I've eaten there in the past, many years ago.

50's Prime Time is great and a lot of fun. Make sure to engage with your server and they will engage back. Have fun with it!

Sci-Fi is fun too, but there's not all that much to see. It's just some car-shaped booths and a movie screen. I wouldn't worry that much about it - just consider it for next time. :)

I don’t think they will. They typically don’t allow that to happen. I tried to see be our guest when I was on a solo trip before I’d dined there and was told no. This is a good reason to come back and try another restaurant. Sc-fi is a cool set up, foods just so so though.

I though you said you were looking for a reservation for Sci-Fi?

As I understand it, they want to eat a Prime Time (where they already have an ADR), they only want to walk in and look at Sci-Fi (and are wondering if they can do that without purchase with an ADR).

I tried to get a reservation for Sci Fi...yeah we'd eat there for as late as we could get in, but I've been unable to get a reservation. If we got a reservation, we'd eat. Im not looking to just hog their space.
That being said I was just curious, but like OP said I'll look on YouTube. I guess it was not well looked-upon to think we could check it out in person.
We have a reservation at 50's.

Yeah I understand. Just my (weird) dh loves cars lol and dd (12) would probably think it's cool. I don't even care about the food just wanted to have the experience, but can't get a reservation.
I've been checking twice a day for weeks.
