My DD had scheduled her phone interview for 2/24, then got sick so she attempted to reschedule (on 2/21). It appeared that the only thing available was for 2/24, at 2:45. She accepted that and figured she'd do the best she could. On 2/24, Disney called as anticipated and the interview went well. Later that day, she got an email from Disney thanking her for doing the phone interview, reminding her that she should hear about an offer in about 2 weeks, and to keep checking her dashboard.

OK, all's well, right? She was in her personal email account tonight and checked her spam file- and lo and behold, there is an email from Disney dated 2/21, confirming her phone interview for TOMORROW at 2:45. I'm sure this is just a computer glitch and they have everything updated, but do you think she should call them just to make sure everything is OK? She's actually not available tomorrow at the supposed scheduled time because of a family obligation... and she's already HAD her phone interview!!

If she won't be able to answer the phone tomorrow and explain that she's had her interview, she should try to call and let them know.

and she needs to set up a filter/rule to keep all incoming disney messages in her primary inbox.

Sorry, I should have posted a follow-up. DD tried to call the number on her email but as it was a Saturday, nobody answered. It all turned out to be a computer glitch, cross-sent email, whatever. Disney did NOT call on Sunday, but they sent email today: DD has been accepted for the Fall 2013 CP!!

Congrats!!! Did she get WDW or Disneyland?

Congrats!!! Did she get WDW or Disneyland?

WDW- we are headed down on 3/11 so she can do the character audition on 3/14. She really wants to be a mover, which is a parade performer, more than anything else, but that means passing a character audition and being pulled for an advanced dance audition (if I understand the process). She has 13 years of dance training (about 20 hours a week if you include rehearsals for the companies she belongs to) and has done summer intensive programs with other companies, like Rockettes, Bossov Ballet, and Complexions. She is really optimistic, but it means getting through the cattle call next Thursday. Oh well, I am always up for a trip to WDW!! She doesn't know what her offered role will be as she hasn't accepted yet... better get moving on that in case we can't get it done and can't get decent WiFi signal at ASMu next week. Wouldn't that be a kicker, if she lost her offer because she couldn't complete the steps to work at Disney because she was in Disney World?? :lmao::sad1:
