strange names...

i was looking at the readers digest and i came across some really odd names that people actually have named their kids.

in new zealand, parents were ordered to change their 9-yr-old daughter's name from Talula Does The Hula From Hawaii.

some other unusual names include:
-Violence
-Midnight Chardonnay
-Number 16 Bus Shelter
-twins called Fish and Chips

and last, my personal favourite, there was this guy in the UK who thought his name was too boring so he legally changed it to:
Captain Fantastic Faster Than Superman Spiderman Batman Wolverine Hulk And The Flash Combined.


has anyone else come across strange names?

There's a girl that works at BK here named Chardanai. (Like Chardonnay) Her name makes me CRACK up every time I go through the drive through.

Of course, my kids are going to have unique names that some will find strange, but not as strange as that, I promise xD

But in my 6th grade class, there was a gril named Ecolia.

'Guy' is actually pretty common. I know several people with that name/nickname (around here it's an americanized version of 'Gui', which is a shortening of the french 'Guillaume').

Frank Zappa's kids are Moon Unit, Dweezil, Ahmet Emuukha Rodan, and Diva Thin Muffin Pigeen.
