Strange High Tea question

This may sound strange to many of you, do they serve real clotted cream with the scones at Palo or is it thickened/whipped cream?

I've had real clotted/Devonshire cream before, and from what I could tell, the cream that they serve with the scones and jam at Palo was the same thing.

Of course, I'm not an expert, but to DH and I, it did seem the same.

I'm pretty sure it was clotted cream. It definitely wasn't whipped cream.

I would be very surprised if Palo's used anythign besides the real thing.
