To start I do have an icloud account

But today I get an email saying my icloud is full but for being a loyalty customer I can get 50 whatever is the storage and to click on this link which turns out be an deal from Netflix which we never had.

I never put in any info and just click off. If I wouldn’t have an iCloud account I wouldn’t have opened it in the first place

Also the email didn’t have my name which I know is a big red flag

I thought that iCloud just kept on going as long as you paid the monthly fee

Anyone else hear of this

No. But I do get messages saying my cloud storage is almost full and if storage does run out, no new photos will be saved to the cloud. And then it does have an option to increase the storage.

Is Netflix involved with your current cloud storage?

Sorry I did forget to add that the next page with the Netflix said our subscription expired interestingly seeing we had a. Netflix account

It's a phasing scam. Never click on the link in an email that's trying to scare you. Go to the site on your own. If their "scare" is true, you'll be able to see it that way.

It's possible, but not likely, that the "Netflix" page put nefarious software on your computer. Still wouldn't hurt to run an immediate scan by your anti-virus/anti-malware of choice.

Don't click the link, classic phishing scam. The only times I get mails from iCloud are when I log in from a browser; I have the 2 TB plan to it will be awhile before I'm full.
