Strange DVC mileage at HHI

I'm in the process of uploading my photos from HHI, but in the process I came across this strange one of the mileage between different DVC resorts. I think they need some lessons on how to compute distances! Since when is it 30 miles from OKW to SSR? And 7 miles between BWV and BCV? Oh, well-at least this gave me a laugh.

It's probably the same people who provide the "official" square footage of DVC resort villas!

These numbers are valid if you realize that they are derived from air travel, not roadways. This may include gobs of circling, holding patterns and the like. Perhaps they used a really long tape measure and a hellicopter.

I strongly suspect that it is a simple typo. If you put it at 306 instead of 336 the numbers seem to be what they should be for SSR, and if you have ever ridden the bus route between BWV and BCV it at least SEEMS like its 5 miles, LOL.
