Strange Disney Dreams

This happens every year when I hit w/in the 60 day countdown.....the dreams start. C'mon, you know the dreams....you get to your hotel and you notice that you've packed for everyone in the family, except yourself. You're chosen to be in a parade and then you realize you're naked. You show up at a park bright and early, ready for a magical day only to realize they closed all the parks because the CM's are on strike, or that the drainage system is clogged and none of the toilets flush. Well, since we are staying at AKL for the 1st time last night's dream was that the animals stayed in the lodge and the guest camped out in the Savannah, yes. it's true. These dreams are what I can look forward to for the next few weeks. I know it comes from planning and counting down till vacation/ it's trade-off I know. Just thought I'd share.....I wonder what tonight's slumber will bring....Pink Elephants maybe.

This is so funny! I had a dream the other night that I was at WDW and wearing light colored shorts with dark underwear. I noticed when I saw myself in a mirror. I was just appalled and kept begging to go back to the hotel and my family wouldn't let me. Why I couldn't just go by myself, I'm not sure, but hey it was a dream! Only 17 more days...woo hoo!

I've had 3 disney dreams and they've all involved the AKL.

The first AKL dream I had, my brother and I were in a jeep out on the savannah and he forgot to close the gate? and the animals were getting out. That was the dream I had before I'd even stayed there but was getting ready for the trip.

The second dream I had I dreamed that when we checked in we found a big ol' hippo in the bathtub and some sort of bird flew out of the closet when I opened it.

No dream for a couple years. Now I have ressie for June and just today I laid down to take a nap and had another AKL dream, but I'm having trouble remembering it. I'm sure more will come before we leave.

I have not had any other kind of WDW dream. Just about AKL.

So Strange! I too had a Disney dream last night. First, some background. We had our first Disney trip ever scheduled for Nov. and at the very last minute, I had the van packed, we had to cancel it because work got BAD for DH. Well, things had improved and we are to leave in 11 days. Yesterday he came home from work saying that it is potentially getting bad again. Now, onto the dream.

I was at WDW with my boys, we would stand in lines for rides and when we got to the front they would never let us on. I saw lots and lots of people wearing shirts with huge DIS printed on them. I would try to talk to them and they would ignore me. I finally realized that my boys and I were invisible!

I am keeping my fingers crossed that this dream won't come true and the better "dream" of actually being there, will truly happen this time!

That's too funny,ahaha Man, I wish I had fun dreams like that. I use to have a reacurring dream when I was younger, normally right before the school year started, it always involved me getting to school and realizing I had forgotten my backpack and felt totally unprepared, ack!

Ozzy Osbourne and I often tour the parks together..he particularly enjoys the Peter Pan rollercoaster that runs outside near the Winnie the Pooh boat ride. I need to stop falling asleep watching MTV...really I do...lol.

Just last night I dreamt that I was at Disney World, and that I was supposed to be working. I kept running into people from the hospital where I work, and I would have to pretend that I was taking care of patients while riding the monorail or watching the fireworks. Somehow I managed to pull it off.

Quite a few years back...before our first stay at Dixie Landings,
I dreamt that the resort rooms had dirt floors. It was such a realistic dream, I half expected to see dirt floors when we got there. =0)
My family still razes me about the 'dirt floors'.

I had a dream about Disney the other night as well, but it had something to do with me, Jasmine, and a magic carpet ride.

Talk about synergy.... two of the more exciting things in my life right now are 1) new, challenging, rewarding job this summer & 2) upcoming family vacation to WDW. The other night I dreamed I arrived at my new job site and it was The Haunted Mansion.
