All of us have some unusual combinations of food that we eat. A couple of days ago a princess from Canada told us of pizza made with french fries and gravy with melted cheese curds.

I personally love to add a can of drained chunk white tuna to a can of veggie soup, can't taste the tuna and it's a great way to add high protein to a bowl of low fat soup.

Tonight for dinner I'm having baked salmon patties and baked porgies.

What kind of unusual stuff do you put together, please share.

she is describing poutine.

never heard it on top of pizza crust.

its usually served in a bowl or plate.

Really good when its cold outside...or watching hocky!!!!

Yes that is what she called it a poutine pizza, no tomato sauce or anything on the crust just the fries, gravy and cheese with extra hot gravy for dipping.

Baked packaged salmon patties from a box are pretty tasteless. Won't be doing that again but the progies were wonderful as always.

Just way too nasty for my tastes. Different strokes for different folks :thumbsup2

Not too weird, but I haven't seen anyone else do this...

I eat Shredded Wheat--2 biscuits, on plate, pour boiling water over, pat down, drain off water and slather on some butter.

Yummy, high fiber, carbs. These days in the morning, am hour or two before I run, I will eat one biscuit , light on butter.

I make tuna but add some spices to make it a little more interesting - cumin, tumeric, paprika and green onions.

For my morning oatmeal, I add in wheat germ, flax seed, walnuts, blueberries and sugar free syrup.

I'll have to think a little more about the weird food combinations...

To my tuna I hold the onions because they react but have cumin, turmeric, paprika, cayenne pepper, chili powder and Crystal Hot Sauce.

My oatmeal delight starts with honey drizzled onto the oats while mixing with a fork in a large bowl. When moist I add cinnamon and mix. Next comes walnuts, almonds, freshly ground flax seed with cinnamon, raisins, Fiber One Cereal, grated Baker's 100% Cacao Unsweetened Dark Chocolate, some Hershey's Dark Chocolate Chips and a couple dollops of Greek Yogurt and some hot green tea so I can swallow 4,000mgs of fish oil pills, Curcumin pill for arthritis, multi vitamin and then my Monavie.

Dave-using the canned Salmon making your own patties would have been a bit tastier -
btw fresh Salmon in the grill is awesome!

Robert- do you make your own veggie soup?

John-oh my gosh, that's too much for me to remember so early in the morn!

Maura-I used to eat my shredded wheat that way...
