So, first of all, I've lurked occasionally here for a while, because I enjoy reading a lot of the posts and get some giggles. So thanks for all of that. And while I am straight, since my wife and I are in our mid-30s and don't have kids, most of the friends we hang out with are gay couples and drag queens, since all of our suburban straight couple friends do nothing but hang out with their children and be parents. Pfft.

But I finally have a story to share. In January, I finally got to take the Disney trip of a lifetime. My friend Michael (who is one of, y'know, "you people" :rolleyes1) and I managed to get a room at Bay Lake and spent four insane days in the parks (100+ attractions over 54 hours, and yes, we kept track) that none of our Disney-traveling friends wanted any part of. For example, our last day at MK we got there at 9:15am and didn't leave until just after midnight and basically didn't stop moving the whole day. Either whoot or we're morons, I can't tell.

So the day we went to Studios, we did dinner at the 50's Prime Time Cafe. And our waiter was super-cool. And I'm secure enough to acknowledge that he was a really attractive guy, with a great personality and an awesome sense of humor. And there was definitely some flirting going on between he and Michael, even though he clearly though that we were a couple. My problem was that for the life of me, I could NOT figure out a way to get out of the way without just saying "I like the lady-bits, so y'all go on and do what you do". We did get a good laugh about it later, and I think he forgot to charge us for our drinks, so that was good.

Anyway, just wanted to finally drop in and say hi. I'd insert some meaningful quote about strength or happiness or living proudly, but something about preaching to the choir.

Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust. :tinker:

How about if you asked the waiter: "My brother is curious where the cast members like to hang out these days, since Pleasure Island Dance Clubs have closed?"

I did something similar once at a pool where my female friend had a crush on one of the college guys on break, and I shouted out "Sis, you need anything ?"

I know your not his brother, but it gets the idea out quickly that your NOT romantically together.

Anyway, I like your support for our team.

I think it would be awesome to Date a Disney CM. But to answer your question your friend Michael could have said this my best friend and he is straight. If I was Michael I would pulled him off to the side or left him a note on the check or something or you could have spoke up. I am a bashful guy here very shy but not afriad to say my friend is straight or something if I like someone. Now if I was alone that would be another story.
