Straight Talk & Verizon apps?

Anyone with Straight Talk?
Can you download Verizon apps?

I am specifically interested in the Mobile Magic. A brand new app from Disney which will give you actual wait times.

I looked at the Verizon plans, but they are way too much. I called one store here & was told there was a month to month plan if you had your own equipment. So I got a friend's old phone & went to another store & there they acted like they didn't know a thing.

I would love to have this for our trip!
