Was looking forward to walking to DL from the hotel, but now have to tour in a walking boot due to recent ankle surgery. So, we might bring a wheelchair (although I can walk/stand, but not for 10 hours!). Another option is to use the ART shuttle and take is easy in the parks.

Anyway, looking to get advice/comments from those who have used the shuttle from Stovall's. We are rope drop people so it stresses me to have to rely on a bus. Do the buses fill up in the mornings where you have to wait for another 20 minutes for another one? Also, can you buy 3 day art passes at the hotel or just daily passes (I can always give them a call on that one). Any other comments/tips?

Thanx

Honestly, I would just rent or borrow a portable wheelchair from someone and let the rest of your party walk and push you. I can't stand ART. I used it a couple of years ago and swore never to use it again. The walk to and from Stovall's isn't bad at all and if you have a wheelchair, it will be easy. At least try it in the morning and you can always catch a shuttle at night. Walking, to me, is the only way to guarantee getting there for rope drop.

Thanks for the input. I was able to borrow a wheelchair for the trip. We will do a "dry run" the day we check in and then go from there.
