Can someone please tell me about Storytime with Belle?
How often does it occur? Is it listed on the Daily Time Schedule? Where is it heald? How much before do you need to get there? Will a 3 and 5 year old enjoy this?
Let me know your thoughts and experiences.
TIA

it's to the right side of the castle, the timesare posted there. i would arrive at least 20 min early, depending on crowd levels

your kids should love it!!

good luck and have fun!!

It's a nice departure from the crowds. My daughter went when she was 5 and 7 (last year) and enjoyed both times. They take kids from the audience and make them part of the story. It's also a good time for your child to have their picture taken with Belle.

Storytime with Belle is in a little spot next to the castle on the Tomorrowland side. It runs several times a day and is posted in the guide.

We happened to duck into it in January right after Cinderellabration. It was just a couple minutes before it began. There is not much seating so we had to stand along the back wall. It was great as my ds (6) was chosen to come up and play the part of Belle's father. Seemed like most the kids chosen for the show were standing and on the left side (when looking at the stage).

It was one of the highpoints of the trip for ds. He's had a bit of a crush on Belle ever since :)

My kids loved it! We got there right as it started, so they were not part of the story, but we all really enjoyed it! Belle chooses kids from the audience to dress as her papa, Gaston, Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts, and Chip. The Best was a dad during the show we saw. Belle and her helpers direct them as to what to do during the story. It was adorable and afterward we got to have pictures with Belle. I recommend trying to go and if you want to be part of the story, bet there early. Also if it is a peak season, you may want to be there early anyway to get a seat. Enjoy!

My DD 3 loved it! We ended up seeing it 3 times during our trip. It is definitely a great opportunity to get pictures with Belle. :thumbsup2

It is a cute little show that plays a few times a day. When we saw it they picked my DD to play Mrs. Potts. She loved it. They also picked my DH to play the Beast. It was so cute. DD still giggles when she talks about her dad dancing on the stage with Belle.

Your kids will love it! Have a great time!

Thanks for all the replies. It sounds like something my Granddaughter 5 and Grandson 3 will love when we are there in 2 weeks  . Are the times posted in the Times Guide or do you need to go to the area to the right of the Castle and look for the posted times.
Thanks Again.

Yes, a 3 and 5 year old should definitely enjoy it . . . .especially if they are familiar at all with the movie. This was actually one of my favorite parts of our last trip (in January). . . you can see why. . . .

The times should be listed in the Times Guide when you enter the park. Have Fun!

Actually, Belle's helpers pick the kids, not Belle. My DD6 wanted to be picked so badly when she went but I told her that not everyone could be picked so not to be too disappointed if she didn't get chosesn. Well, she didn't get chosen but she handled it well. As we were watching it, when Belle asked the little girl who was Mrs. Potts what was for dinner, the little girl wouldn't talk. My DD whispered to me, "She is ruining the show!" It was so funny that I told Belle's helpers as we were leaving. They told dd that they needed someone like her to be in the show and come back at 4:40 or 5:40 and they would pick her to be in the show. And she did get to be Mrs. Potts when we came back!

My DD5 got to participate in the storytelling.

That is too funny. :rotfl2:

Belle did pick the kids when we were there. She actually picked all the helpers including our ds as Papa.

JLynn,
Thanks, I am so excited I don't think I can get through the next 2 days.
We definitely will catch Storytime with Belle.

You will love it. It's really a beautiful spot and the picture taking potential is wonderful! Lovely setting. My 7 y.o. DD was picked to be Cogsworth and it is one of her favorite memories. It's not to be missed! :)
