We will be be doing Christmas Dinner at Storytellers this year. We decided to go that route since we have done Thanksgiving Dinner there in the past. While there are no characters the food was superlative. DD was 6 and eats the same things we do, so we do not look for "kid" friendly buffets. Keep in mind that the buffet is not huge, but the food was excellent! And we ate at 7pm (it had been going since 3 that day) and the buffet was fresh and tasty, kept full and inviting. And the Christmas Menu this year is very similar to the Thanksgiving menu we had. She is now 8 and is looking forward to going back because she likes the food. Like your son, our daughter eats a very wide variety of things, more so than a normal 8 year old would do. For us better food prevailed over the shot of characters for Christmas Dinner. We recommend Storytellers because of this. If you child would prefer characters, then Goofy's kitchen might be a better choice.
