Storytellers or Goofy's Kitchen character breakfast?

I'm trying to decide between Storytellers and Goofy's kitchen for a character breakfast on the day we fly home. I don't think we would be able to do brunch at Storytellers since our flight would leave at 2:30pm so I don't want to be rushed. Do people have a preference between these two? We've never been to Disneyland before so everything is new to us! Thanks!

Storytellers for food quality, for sure.

I havent Been to either since Covid, but overall, goofys is more festive and loud, and storytellers is quieter And fancier. They have changed the characters at storytellers too, which I think in the past was not as great unless you were fans of the characters. The characters now are closer to what goofy gives you.

Thank you! Do you know which characters are at each? I only see Goofy and friends listed for Goofy's Kitchen and Mickey listed for Storytellers. It looks like Mickey might be in a cute outfit though!

The other characters can vary a bit, but Mickey will always be at Storytellers and Goofy will always be at Goofy’s. At Storyteller’s last month we had Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and Chip & Dale.

Also be aware that storytellers has characters only for breakfast and brunch, not dinner. They do serve dinner, just with no characters. Goofy has characters for both breakfast and dinner, I believe goofys is the only place today to get character dinner at DLR.

in the past, on our first night, we always went to goofys fir dinner if possible, it was a nice way to meet the characters before we went to the parks, the next day.

Storytellers has FAR better food at breakfast than Goofy's. Goofy's has more variety, but none if it is very good. And it's so big that by the time you get back to your table, everything is cold.

I prefer Storyteller's. Food is better, atmosphere quieter. Characters are Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale, and Pluto.
