Storyteller Cafe

We just came back from LA and loved the Story Teller Cafe. Fantastic place, my two kids loved it.

WORD OF WARNING. Since Labor Day they may not be offering the dinner buffet every night. You might want to call ahead and double check for your day. I know they didn't offer it on Tues 9/6, but did on Wed 9/7. Just don't want anyone to be dissapointed if they were counting on the buffet at dinner.

This is one of my all time favorite places to eat. We ALWAYS have the breakfast buffet before driving back to Phoenix ::yes:: I can practically make a meal on just the grilled asparagus, crisp bacon and fresh strawberries.

My husband and I love Storytellers Cafe. We live about an hour from DL so we go there sometimes just for breakfast without even going in the parks. I get the Mickey waffle with fresh berries and DH gets Eggs Benedict or an omelette. We both order from the menu since we think $20 is a little steep for a breakfast buffet and we're not big eaters.

One of my favorite things about Storytellers is that Chip and Dale and Pluto are usually there for breakfast on the weekends welcoming guests as they arrive. I love to see the interaction with the characters and the kids. They do a "following the leader" dance around the restaurant every now and then with the characters leading the kids. It is wonderful to watch the kids having such a great time.

Also, I agree about the corn chowder being fabulous for lunch or dinner. I have never had a bad meal at Storytellers.
