Storyteller breakfast at 9:00

A question about security and access to downtown Disney. We have character breakfast reservations on Wenesday( a non MM Day) at 9:00 at storyteller cafe and we are staying at the Hojos. Can we get across the plaza to get in the the GCH or downtown Disney or do we have to drive around? Any help or suggestions would be appeciated

You can walk through the esplanade to get to the GCH entrance in DTD. We've done this several times for a 7:30 am breakfast. If security asks (which they probably won't at that time), just tell them you're going to breakfast.
