Story telling at AKL

I was told the story telling at AKL begins at 6:30pm in the lobby. I saw on this board though that it is by some rock, presumably outside? Anybody know?

Only 4 more weeks (2/8 -2/15) and we're at WDW! Woohoo!

Hi! Unless the weather affects the place, its at the firepit right outside the lobby by the savannah. I'm thinking ours was at 6:00 last summer, but they'll let you know at check-in. Don't miss it, very entertaining for kids and adults. Also, get there a little early to get a seat around the firepit. We'll be at WDW at the same time! You'll love the AKL. So far its our favorite, but we're working our way around the world! This time CBR or WL if it opens up for that time

Thanks so much! I don't know if we'll be "allowed" to attend as we are staying at OKW, checking in that day, and we were planning on driving over. But hey, it's worth a shot!

AKL is our favorite, too, we stayed last March and are going back in April.
Both your sources were right, the area for storytelling is called "Arusha Rock Firepit." This area is right off the lobby, as you walk out to Arusha Rock overlook for the animals. This is very nice during the spring, when evening is falling and the fire is very welcome! I'm sure it is quite nice during fall as well!

During March of 2003, it was at 6:30. You can find all the times for activities on the back of the map you're given at check-in. This is a fantastic resort, you may be like us and have a hard time going anywhere else!
