I just had to tell you about the cutest conversation I had with my just turned 4 year old. She's always wanted to go into Cinderella's Castle and we've tried and tried to get in for the breakfast (dinner is just to much for our blood). She is one of the biggest disney princess fans you have ever met....she wears one of her costumes every day when she gets home from school, has to watch at least one of her movies before bed and constantly talks about her princesses.

So the other day when I told her we were going to disney, of course first thing out of her mouth was if we could go into the castle to eat with the princesses. I have tried 2 to 3 times a day since our plans were made but still haven't gotten anything.

So then she tells me that since she had a tea party for her birthday a few weeks ago, that she would like to have a tea party with the princesses. She proceeded to tell me that she wants her next christmas and birthday present to be eatting with the princesses in the castle and that it would be like her birthday all over again if we ate with them.

It's breaking my heart!!! Do you think if we don't get a ps, that we could just go up and peek when we are there? If I do by chance get a ps (yea right huh?), since her birthday was only a couple weeks ago and this trip IS part of her birthday present, should I tell them we are celebrating her birthday? She would just LOVE every minute of this.

Have you tried to get into the Storybook princess breakfast at Epcot? Also, you can dine with Cinderella at the GF (1900 Park Fare). The CRT breakfast is pretty crowded and there really isn't much room for onlookers. As soon as you get upstairs, they ask for your PS card, which is given at the desk. If you can't get CRT, try one of the other options. Also, be sure to call Disney Dining once you arrive. You can often snag a PS a couple of days in advance. Good luck!

Yes, i've been trying for both... :-(

Call Wdw dinning the day before you want to and ask if theyhave any cancellations. we have been able to get into this breakfast before doing this. Most certainly tell them it is her birthday!!

Have a wonderful trip and I hope you can get it!!

Keep trying and keep checking these boards for cancellations!
Another great ps is the Wonderland Tea Party at the GF. My DD loved this as much as the 2 princess breakfasts!:D Eating and playing with Alice and the Madhatter was a real treat. Don't give up, call 3 days out too! You can also just walk by and see if there are no shows if all else fails. :D

The first time we ever ate breakfast at the castle, we just walked up (first thing in the morning) and asked if they had any cancellations. The CM said to come back right before closing (9:45 I think). We came back and asked the other CM at the desk and she said no without even looking. So I waited till the first CM was done doing what she was doing and then said "Hi, you told us to come back at 9:45." "OK right this way" she replied. We were very lucky since at that point we didn't know to call 60 days in advance (I didn't know about these boards back then). So check at the desk - you never know! Good luck!!

Also, if you don't end up getting in for breakfast, why not go for lunch? It won't cost you any more than breakfast and you'll get to eat in the castle. Just remember that only Cinderella will be there and she doesn't come into the restaurant itself but does make appearances in the lobby.

Another option is the Cinderella dinner at the Grand Floridian. It would only be $4 more per adult and $1 more per child than the breakfast. Cinderella, the Prince, the Fairy Godmother and the mice all make appearances at the dinner. It's not the castle but it might be an acceptable alternative.

They also have a children's tea each afternoon at the Grand Floridian which is hosted by Alice in Wonderland. My DD loved this when she was younger and would be perfect for someone your DD's age.

Good luck!

I had the same thing. My two kids are girls agres 3 and 6 at the time of their first trip to WDW. They wanted to go to th ecastle as well. I waited too late to get the PS for this and went past the PS window. I thought I was shut out. I tried to call and had no luck. I read somewhere to try at about 8:45 EST as the PS desk closes. This is evidently when the cancellations come in. I went home that night and called and got a PS the first try with this. Give it a shot.

Twice we've been able to snag a PS by calling from Disney at exactly 7:00 a.m. exactly 2 days in advance. It was kind of humourous, because the CM said "Sure. I've got space for 4 at 7:40, 8:00, 8:30, 8:40, 9:20, and 9:30" (or words to that effect - there were about 6 different openings at both early and late times). My DD was delighted, of course. However, for our next trip (aged 7) she says she would rather repeat the princess breakfast in Norway because she likes it even more. (apparently the cinnamon rolls tip the scales in favour of Norway)

Best of Luck!
