Story Book Dining

I've been trying to get a reservation for our September trip. Nothing is available for diner between 4pm and 9pm during our entire trip. The dates are 9/8 to 9/17. I have even tried different dates around our dates. I'm also using Mouse Dining but as soon as a reservation time pops up it's gone. I had no problem getting a for our now canceled May trip. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Could it be that it's that popular? Or is it due to the Wilderness Lodge being closed?

It's that popular. It should get better as it gets closer as others cancel/modify. Keep checking - you might have competition!!

I had Mouse Dining & Touring Plans alerts set up and didn’t start getting alerts until about 3 weeks before our trip, but then I got tons of alerts. Some were too late, some too early. I needed it to be a pretty specific time. Never got a time that worked for us but there was tons of movement close to the trip. Super early times wouldn’t work for us and we don’t like to plan late dinners with the ages of our kids. If I had not been picky about time, we would have many opportunities to book it last minute as our trip approached.

And the obvious..are you playing with table size? I don't know how many you have in your party, but if you check up (6 instead of 4) and down (2 tables of 2) you might have better luck.

Well.... you definitely have competition, because we've been trying to get a table for 4 for the same time period. lol. So far, no luck over here either. We've got a 1900 Park Fare reservation for that time in case we can't get Storybook.

I did the same. We have a 1900 Park Fair reservation too.

I think that they may have to reduce seating in the restaurants and/or distance tables which may make reservations even more difficult.

keep checking. I would also try Touringplans Reservation finder. It has worked for us in the past.
