Stormalong Bay with capacity restrictions

Hey y'all! We're headed down this summer for my 35th birthday and I'm trying to decide which resort to book. I'm thinking Y&B Club would be great because of the pool option but am not sure how it is with capacity restrictions. Any feedback is welcome. Also, we've never stayed a Y&B Club - actually no deluxe resort for that matter :)

We are currently booked at the Beach Club for July and I have the same question. A mid-day break at the pool is a must for our kids in the Florida summer sauna. Maybe restrictions will be loosened by then, but I'm thinking it may be wiser not to bank on that but to choose a resort where we're more likely to access a pool.....?

Stormalong Bay is very popular obviously but at worst with capacity restrictions you'll need to provide a number and they will text you to come back. The thing is, as with just about all the deluxe resorts, people flock to the main/feature pool and the quiet pools are usually way less busy. So even if you can't get into SAB, chances are pretty good that you'll still be able to have some pool time elsewhere at the resort.

If you have any other questions though please feel free to come on over to the dedicated YC&BC thread. We love helping folks! We've been talking about the pool situation recently.

Thanks! That's good to know about the text feature. When we were down in Sept you just had to stand in line and it was one-in one-out.

That's my dilemma as well. We aren't doing the parks but instead going to Discovery Cove, so resort amenities are a big thing of what we're wanting to utilize on our other two days.

if it’s a resort only stay, then just make sure you’re down to SAB at opening time and they won’t be an issue. I think where people are concerned is if they want to spend the morning at the parks and then come back to the pool area at one or two in the afternoon.

We were at BCV in November. It rained most days and the temperature was only in the 70s.

Despite this, there was a wait to get into Stormalong Bay during the warmest park of the day every day.

The only time we did not wait was when we went to SB at 11:00 AM before heading to Epcot later that day.
