Stormalong Bay Rehab???

I just found out that there is rehab going on. Does anyone know whats going to be effected?? We are staying nov 28-dec 3 JUST FOR THE POOL!! Any info appreciated!!

I heard they were doing some work but I am not sure to what extent. I also heard that they never shut the entire pool down - only sections at a time. We will be there before you (the last 5 nights of our vacation in November) and I will post what was going on when I get back after 11/21.

They are working on sections at a time. For example, the slide area will be worked on in January/February. So part of the pool will always be open.

I can't quite remember.... There were some posts a while ago about it.

I think the sandbar/kiddie area is closed in November. I thought it was up until Thanksgiving. Then the lazy river section would be closed in December but open for Christmas. Then from Jan 1st to Feb 25th the slide and I believe the major portion of the pool would be closed. We are going to be there Feb 20-25 so were a bit sadden by this news.

Do a search on SAB rehab both here and on the DVC board and I bet you will find the info.

What is going on with the slide there? It was closed for 5 out of the 8 days we were at YC in Feb 2004 and will now be closed again in Feb 2005. That's an lot of rehab during a short amount of time.
