Stormalong Bay refurb?

We're planning a big trip next May and will be staying at BCV. It will be our first time there and we really want to use the pool, but I've heard it's closed at the beginning of May I believe, for refurbishment? Does anyone know if this is true and that it happens every year? Would reservations have a clue a year out? We originally were going to go the first week or two of May, but I can push it out to the third week in May if you think it will be a safer bet that we'll be able to use the whole pool. Thoughts??

Disney's Beach Club Resort - Stormalong Bay pool slide will be closed 5/2/2010 until late May.

I remember reading somewhere that the slide is now open.
