Anyone know how much it is to rent innertubes for the lazy river at Stormalong Bay? And am I right that Stormalong Bay is free if you are staying at the Beach Club? How far is it from the Beach Club?thanks!

Stormalong Bay is the pool area at the YC/BC/BCV resorts. There's no charge to use it, but it is only available to guests of those resorts. The pool area is fenced, and you must present a room key (resort id) from one of the above three resorts to enter.

It's not far from anywhere really in the resort, though the villas are the farthest.

I don't know how much innertube rental is, we bring our own and then leave them behind for someone else to love.

The noodles are $4.5 for purchase (you can check with the pool staff, not the retail staff and they might have extra that guests have left behind to pass out). The intertubes are $3 to rent for a single. I believe $6 for a double.

I forgot from last time, can you bring your own swiming rings to float on or not.

Our girls always take inflatables and have never had a problem in Stormalong Bay but they are not the extra large ones. DD6 bought a swim ring last summer from retail staff at the pool that looked like Nemo. It wasn't a little one but it wasn't huge either, especially when compared to the rental tubes.
She did take along one of the Disney Store rafts last year also without problems and it was a good size.

We've taken noodles along from home when we drove and had room in the van but they're really not that expensive to buy at the pool and save the hassle of carrying it around.

We usually rent a large tube also but rarely use it for more than 30 minutes or so. You can rent them fopr the day or by the hour/several hour period as I remember. Whatever the shorter period is, that's what we do now and plan to return it promptly unless they are still playing with it when their time is up. I just hate to pay to let it sit on the side of the pool...

Thanks so much, I know it can get expensive to rent for such a short time. I may bring two for my 5 and 9 year olds (well they will turn it at Disney) so they can use it back and forth as they need.
