Storing markers for scrapping

Does anyone know where I can buy some kind of marker caddy that will holds LOTS of markers on their sides?? I've spent hours searching the internet and cannot find anything! UGH! I'd appreciate any help you could give me! TIA

Are you looking to take them out of the house in this caddy? Or just store them at home in this caddy? I got a small 3-drawer thing (Sterlite I think) at Wal-Mart. I keep my markers in there, so they're laying flat.

When I go out, I put them in the elastic loops in the top of my rolling tote. The only problem with that is they're not as accessible as I'd like while I'm working unless I put them on the table...and watch them roll around. I keep thinking I'll get one of those CM cups for that purpose.

I'm looking for one to set on top of my desks in the craft room. The desks are mahogany tables I bought from Target for $82.00 on clearance! They look so nice. I was hoping to find something made of wire with individual slots- or a unit made of wood that has squares inside it- so the pens can stack. It doesn't matter if it's wall mount or desk top- but I prefer desk top. Right now I have them in cups! Anything would look better then that!!!

Can't take credit for this tip, but have you tried getting wine bottle holders. Just get some glasses long enough to fit into it and then you'll have a nice marker storage container.

Do you mean turn the wine rack on it's side and put glasses where the wine bottles would go??? If so.... you are brilliant! That's a great idea!

Actually, you're supposed to store markers on their sides....so using a wine rack in its normal position would be the thing to do. That would look really nice with the mahogany desk! My unit is white, which is okay because it's kept in a cabinet with doors. But I love the wine rack idea!

You could try a plastic case made for storing ammunition. Those are about pen-sized. But they're not very deep....

I store all my ZIG markers in one of those Sterlite 3 drawer containers...the smaller container and it works great!

Thanks for all the suggestions you guys! I went out all night to look for stuff. I think I've decided on the wine rack idea.

Yeah, I use a plastic three drawer thing but that might not look as nice with your pretty desk. I think the wine rack idea sounds great!

I have the CM pen sotrage containers for my CM pens but the markers that I have I just put in caddy for nakins, spoons, forks and knives for summer time. I bought it for $2 and it works fantastic.

I tried the wine rack..& couldn't find glasses long enough to fit AND tilt down without falling every time I grabbed a pen...so I found these at Office Depot...

ok I can't get the link to post....they're cubes basically, they clip together, I have 3 & they fit my 200+ markers.
