So, I love the idea of uploading and printing matte photos through the store to save ink, so I gave it a shot. I uploaded to Meijer through snapfish and tried to get them printed(for pickup) but they said they couldn't because of license issues. Is this something others have run into? Do I have any other options?

I can tell you that since I've started this project, I find the easiest companies to work with are ArtsCow, Snapfish, or Shutterfly. I believe it is a common problem because not many companies will even touch anything that has anything to do with Disney!! I've placed 3 orders through ArtsCow and have not had a problem yet! Hope this helps!!!:goodvibes The only other thing is I noticed you are leaving in 2 months for your trip. ArtsCow can take a while to ship!!! We are also leaving in two months, and my deadline for my last order to ArtsCow is 7/20 because I don't want to take the chance on ordering any later!!

Thank you! The meijer photos were through snappish but I guess a meijer employee stopped it. I might try artscow....I just hate the wait!!! :( I am debating on just printing my own. :sigh:

I ran into the problem with our local store and pulled up the page on the thread that shows they can not be sold or used for profit. Then I sowed them the thread where the clip art comes from so they printed it. Took some of my time but at lest it got done. This just happened this week.

I have used Snapfish, Shutterfly & Walmart. One of the Walmarts near me refuses to sell the autograph cards because of the copyrighted images. The other has no problem with it at all.

I had a lot of Disney stuff printed through Staples no problem last year. But, I also read posts from others saying Staples refused to print for them.

I have also used ArtsCow with no issue. Just beware that if you phone them for some reason (ie, to check how long your order will be) - they may stop your order once they see the Disney items. As long as you don't phone, you should be fine.

Just a thought, how about just taking them to the store on CD or flash drive and printing them yourself at one of the self-service kiosks?

I have not done that in a very long time. Does the photo staff still go through them and then package them up? The worker at Meijer told me she could print images but could not "sell" them to me because of licensing. I guess I could always give it a go at another store of I don't do them online. Thanks for the idea!

i have no idea what Meijer is, but if its like the stores here you just take your CD or UDB or whatever to the photo kiosk and print and package them yourself. the staff never sees the pics you print. the kiosk just prints you out a recipt with the amount you owe and you hand that to the cashier. btw- i had mine printed through walmart and had no problems.. but have heard others did at the walmarts near them

Correct, this is my experience. The photos will print out at the kiosk you are doing all the "work" at, so it's worth a shot!
