Hi Again!

I tried to search for an answer but I couldn't figure out how much storage to expect on the Dream. We have a family veranda on deck 7. Can you fit 2 full size suitcases under the bed side by side? would you say that the closet is comparable to a WDW moderate room's closet? Are there drawers also? I'm doing my best to picture what I will have to work with. My daughter will want princess dresses. We need pirate costumes for 4. A booster seat. etc. Thanks for the help!

Cruise ships have really good storage. We pack a lot and have put three big suitcases under the beds on dream.

Booster seats aren't big (unless you mean a high back) so that shouldn't be a big problem. What are you bringing it for though? There aren't a lot of car seat rules in the Bahamas... For the plane a booster can't be used. If you're renting a car and the booster user is in a low back already, look at the Bubble Bum booster. Weighs a pound, can be carried by the user, and is inflatable and there deflatable for storage in its own bag.

We hang up as much as possible and use the drawers as minimally as possible. Using skippered bags for things like underwear is nice because it keeps those things contained inside the drawer.

IIRC, there's a chest of drawers by the closet with 4-5 drawers as well as space on top to put things (with a little rail or lip around the top to stop stuff from falling off). There is a vanity table with drawers on either side (4-5 on each side). I think that there's also a coffee table that opens and has storage inside as well. I haven't stayed in a moderate for a long time but the closets are a pretty decent size. Shorter than the closets at BC or GF but they do also have a couple of shelves on one side (I think - we've only sailed once on the Dream but I know that the closets on the Magic do) for shoes or small items. The family verandah cabin might have additional storage too. I know that we fit two suitcases under the bed. Before they redid the Magic when the bed wasn't high enough to get suitcases under we used to put them on the floor of the closet and just hang the shorter items like shirts above them and there was enough space for them.

You are likely to be fine. My sister's family was in a cabin like that with 5 people, three adults and two teen-aged girls on the Fantasy for 7 days, and they had plenty of room. The rooms on a cruise ship are small, but the space is well used. Under the bed, closet, dresser drawers, shelves above the dresser/desk, etc.

Don't forget: if your big suitcase opens up like a book, it can slide under the bed that way.

I will be using a Bubble Bum for at least one child. I am coming from the airport by car service and we may rent a car for a one day post trip excursion.
