Stop Making Me Laugh Or I'll Pee My Pants! Go Back! I Lost My Shoe! Trip Report!

Too funny!

I'm not good with Hidden Mickey's where is the one John saw? I can;t find it. LOL!
Hope your day is going well. I feel so tired today..I slept well, just one of those days I guess, so I pushed myself and walk 1 1/2 miles on the treadmill, uploaded music to Claire's MP3 and cleaned a little bit. I really think I may take a nap now though. LOL!

I've been so busy at home lately that I haven't done much Dising. And, I'm still having trouble staying logged in. I think it's the weather that has all of us feeling just plain yucky. Maybe once Springs gets here we'll all be in better moods.

I think it's the bongo drums in the far right corner of the Viva Donald boat.

Thanks for pointing it out to Jen. I didn't get on the Dis much this weekend and I would have hated for her to wait on me to point it out.;)

Good morning everybody! I'm working on a trip installment as we speak....type...speak, you know what I mean. It may not be very long because we are trying to settle a custody case. The trial starts tomorrow and is supposed to be at least three days long. If we can settle this, it will be a major feat. I still have my doubts but we're definitely going to try. Be back after while.

Good morning! Lisa
fun update; you guys always bring a smile when following along...ya'll are always so happy you can't help but smile along!
:wave2:

When I last left off, Hunter was doing his dance in Mexico and we were trying to wait out the rain. We could see that there were still many many people standing around the door to the pavilion so that meant it was still raining. We had lasted an entire week in Walt Disney World with no real rain and it decides to rain on our last Epcot day.:sad2:

Since we still had a little time to kill, we looked around in the store some more. And, then, we spotted the glass blower just coming out to work. We were able to get into the tiny store and watch him work. He was simply amazing. My mother loves any kind of bird and every time we go somewhere, we try to find her some kind of bird. There were several in the store but we couldn't decide which one to get her. Finally, we decided to get her a delicate glass birdbath with two little birds perched on the side. I paid for the item which I had to take with us. They wouldn't send it to package pick-up or resort pick-up because they are made of glass and are too fragile. Hunter watched the glass blower for a few more minutes and then we gave other people their turn to watch.

Of course, since the weather had looked pretty when we left the resort, I didn't bring our ponchos. It was getting close to our ADR check-in time so we had to make the decision of whether or not to run for it or buy new ponchos (when we had four perfectly good ones in our room :headache:). John went to the front of the building to access the situation and came back to say that it was still raining pretty hard and that we needed to buy new ponchos.

For John to say that we had to buy ponchos meant it really was raining hard. John absolutely, positively hates wearing ponchos. He doesn't like how they are tight around his head and neck so he rips the neck of them to make them larger. Then, he complains because the hat part of the poncho doesn't want to stay up. :sad2::sad2::sad2:

But, if we wanted to make it to the Garden Grill without being soaking wet, we would need to buy ponchos...whether John wanted to wear one or not. We made our poncho purchase and tried to find an out of the way spot to put them on.

Hunter put his poncho on and had it on backwards. He didn't realize it until he had it on and tried to put on the hat part. His face was at the back of the hood part.:rolleyes1 Lacey put her's on the correct way. Glad there's at least one sane one in the bunch.

We all know how much John despises wearing the ponchos so, of course, we had to pick on him which made us all laugh. Watching John put on the poncho was absolutely hilarious. He just had this look of disgust on his face and then, he looked like this.....

....which had me just about rolling on the ground. I am not kidding when I say I dropped to my knees. I already had to pee and I almost pee'd myself when I looked at him. (John's probably going to kill me when I tell him I posted that picture.)

Knowing that he was entertaining the kids, John kept up the antics just so they would laugh some more.

You know how you get those fits of giggles and you just can't stop? Well, I had one of those fits. I just kept laughing and laughing and laughing. When I get really really tickled, my laugh changes and I start crying. The kids absolutely love it when I get that way. Well, they were lovin' me at that point because I had the fits of giggles, my laugh had changed and I proceeded to put my poncho on backwards. I almost lost it as did John and the kids. I was about to pee on myself and I couldn't stop laughing. John said something which I can't remember but it made us all laugh even more.

I know that people thought we were a bunch of idiots. But, you know what? Those are the kinds of memories that I like making with my family. Some people have those warm and fuzzy memories and some have serioius memories but we have these sorts of vacation memories. :rotfl:

***I guess I'll stop here. I wanted to get over to my pre-trip report and write up an installment there too.

Up next: Our dinner at the Garden Grill and the kids dancin' with the characters!

OK see...now you have me giggling and the kids were nice and quiet watching Mulan (the Disney channel Monday morning movie)...thanks! :rotfl2: I do the same thing when I start laughing! first is the laugh or giggle, than I start laughing so hard that not a sound comes out (I have been dubbed tigger for this one in the past--since I'm bouncing), than the tears start...:lmao:
:wave2:

GREAT update! That photo of John is priceless!!!!! :lmao:

I have a bunch of pictures that I took at the Garden Grill coming up in my next trip installment. Ummm....I'd have a hard time giving up either one of those ADRs.

I love laughing with my family and see nothing wrong with it at all! I figure I ain't gonna be seeing these people ever again in my life so they can look at me all they want.

I know.....what in the world was John thinking putting his hat on top of the poncho. He's such a nut job!

I certainly don't care if people look. We like to have fun and make memories. Now, if we were those kind of people that get really loud and rowdy and disturb those next to us, then that'd be a different story.

There's absolutely no need to be sorry. I'm just glad that you were around to point out the hidden Mickey. I don't get on the Disboards much on the weekends. Too busy working at what I refer to as "My job that doesn't pay", i.e. housework!

I say make as many wonderful family memories as possible. Even if that means people look at you strangely.

Hello there! I am WAY behind on the TR but I'm going to try to catch up. I read your introduction and thought I could learn something from someone who has been to WDW 14 times! So I'm off to get reading now! You may be finished with your TR by the time I get caught up!

Welcome hello! I'm so glad that you're here. You'll see that I write my Disney trip reports in BRIGHT BLUE so it should be easy to skim over all of our chit chat. I hope that you'll come back and post as you see things you want to comment on!

Finally catching up!!:goodvibes

DS loves the Gran Fiesta Tour in Mexico.:thumbsup2 It's usually the first thing we ride when we head over to the WS. Love all your pictures!! Great find on the Hidden Mickey!!! I am soooo bad at finding them!!:sad2:

The whole poncho thing...very funny!!!:rotfl: Even when it's pouring rain you're family manages to have a great time together!!! What wonderful memories!!!:goodvibes

I hope our trip is as great as this trip we go in july and have not been for four years we drive down and we sing and play car games and we have such a great time. and then when we get there I know it will be great I hope we have lots of things that make us smile and laugh just like your trip.

Great pic of John in the poncho.
River, his dad and I were playing around on the floor tonight when River smacked his dad in the tooth with one of his toys. It wasn't so funny for his dad but I started laughing and then I couldn't breath and then no sound was coming out and my stomach started hurting and I was crying all over the place. River said "mom your crying! can you just stop laughing now?" well no I couldn't! Dh kept saying wait till you get hit next time. River is always hitting us with something or himself from not paying attention.
Loved your story can't wait for dinner at the Garden Grill.
