Stolen Antenna Topper

I have had 3 breast cancer ribbons stolen. Needless to say I don't put any ribbons on my car anymore. So far my AT has been on for about a year. I don't understand why people do this. It's just sad

"two there always is, no less, no more.........the master and the apprentice".......:)..........i always buy two of each just in case.

Thanks, that is good advice. Next time I'll do that. I'm a cheapskate so I didn't even think to buy 2.

Wow! So sorry for everyone who has had one stolen! I have never had one stolen, thank goodness. That's how I find my car anywhere other than my driveway!! :rotfl:

Next time I am buying doubles just in case...

Ugh, I had this happen with my "Nightmare Before Christmas" Jack that I bought at the park. I loved that thing. Looked so cute on my black Beetle

hey

feeling your pain.....i wouldnt dare put an AT on my car, they are as rare as hens teeth here, so it would be gone in a flash....shame though, they are so cute.

I have had someone key my car, so I do know about disapointment/anger when getting back to my car and finding it not in the same state I left it.....

buy the 4 packs of AT's......and keep the spares in the car ...:wizard:

Have a great day......even if its AT free......

EVERY single antenna topper I have ever purchased has been stolen. I don't even bother anymore...

Yup - our nemo was stolen shortly after returning from our trip. The kids & I stood in the parking lot at the Y almost crying. I've had better luck since.

Wow. Theres a lot of rude people out there. At a lax tournament this wkend pray it will stay on so i can find my car. Lol. Feeling everyone's pain!

I've never had a Mickey antenna topper stolen, but thave had a support our troops ribbon taken (unbelievable). I do carry extra antenna toppers in my glovebox, in case I want to hand them out because a couple of years ago a very nice young man was admiring my topper and saying how much he loved WDW.......I just didn't think of just giving him my topper at the time but made 'note to myself' to always do so in the future.

My Stitch Disney World car magnet went missing the day before we left to drive to WDW last year. I thought I could replace it when I got there, but there were absolutely no Stitch magnets to be found.

I knew you guys would understand! Have done that carwash thing :lmao: - They usually can give them back, however.

I have had to go on a rescue mission after realizing the car wash knocked our off.. pulled out saw it gone and luckily another car wasn't coming through.. did have to run through a little water.. but i got it!!! LOL

MICKEY was safe!! :dance3:

Now if I really like one, I buy two. A replacement if the first is stolen...or to be used later, when the first gets too grungy.

But, again, this is not one of life's bigger problems, that's for sure. (But it sucks.)

I agree - I am lucky to not have had any stolen, but I lost one when I drove under a huge tree and the branch pulled it off into a river. Since then I guess you could call me paranoid - I tend to buy three or four of the little guys if they're special (like the golden ones from DLR's 50th). Sometimes I will give one away for a gift or, as you said, keep one in good condition and keep the other on the car.

That said, I hope some bad Mickey karma bites those thieves in the shorts. Mean people suck!

I have done the SAME THING!!

We had a plain black Mickey Head but DW is an artist, and she painted it with mickey's face (she put her initials on it as well) and if it were to ever end up on someone else's car, they would be in a world of hurt.

We have had it for 3 years now though... so losing it now won't mater much.

While it is sad that some people will resort to stealing an antenna topper it doesn't surprise me. My FIL is a carpenter and we used to call him Tim the Tool Man because he sometimes reminds us of Tim Allen's character on Tool Time (although FIL's projects come out much better). We had purchased a Tool Time hard hat antenna topper for him and it was stolen off of his truck. Our next trip we purchased another one and, yep, it was also stolen. FIL decided to keep the third one just sitting on his dash and it luckily has survived.
