Stocking Stuffers

I have 2 DS's. I always make sure they have the same # of items also. One of my DS's is 16 so I usually get gas cards. I also do toothbrushes, tic tacs, pencils, pens, a pair of ski socks. scratch tickets. My youngest likes baseball cards. I also like to start early. Hate all the crowds!!! :cool1:

I just made a trip to the specialty toy store today to get more ideas for Christmas. Managed to find a cute stuffed animal and a plastic music box for DD (just the movement so she can carry it around -- she's always wanting to hold the heavy ceramic music box in her room) and also an adorable hand puppet for DS for stockings.

The store also had Thomas track, which would make a great stuffer for my DS, but I think I can get it for less money elsewhere.

For DH, I'm going to look for a booklight since he's always complaining that he doesn't have one.

Will be nice to have all of the shopping done early!

I also have 2 DS 10, almost 15- in 2 days (and 1 DD)
The 14 y/o love the guys "perfume" like axe or old spice, plus batteries, batteries, batteries.
The 10 y/o like any small toys that I find in the bins at the Discovery Store, normally the squishy animal shaped things. He also still likes silly putty and magnetix.
For DD16 princess: she gets girly stuff- hair do dads, makeup, individual packets of face masks, cute socks, cds, dvds. She's always been the easiest!!
For all 3 i try and find 2-3 different types of candy; 1 being "old fashioned" like pop rocks or Dip it, and the others are xmas kind you find in grocery store.

I do believe if I'm visiting WDW any time the year before I might pick up some tid bits from the candy store for the stockings (on the sly of course)

I'm glad I'm not the only one planning/shopping early. My DH thinks I'm crazy to try and plan so early.

For DS16 we do gift certs for McDonald's & a local bakery. I will also include some nicer shaving gel & balm. Always put in new combs. Mini-Whitman's;
gelt;ski sox(needs new ones this yr);key ring;sports team cap--

I like to do stockings for DH, DFil & DBil, also. Can't forget darlingdoggie & le kittycat!

for the last two years I have stuffed their stockings with some kind of clothing. I found that I could easily spend $25 - $30 on basically junk for each stocking. I thought what a waste. My children don't really get or want many cloths for Christmas so this year I stuffed DS (8) stocking with a Owens jersey (yep we are Eagles fans) it wasn't cheap ($35 Ithink) but he wears it at least once a week all year!! I stuffed DD (11) stocking with a cute pair of PJ's. I usally don;'t like to spend money on PJ's so this was a treat.
Last year they both got Mc Nabe jerseys.
