Ok, I'm back!

I started my trip report and then never returned to it. It got moved to completed trip reports! Oops! It wasn't done! The orginal is below! Please start there!
Stitch is Troubled; he needs dessert!

I'm going to continue now on this thread! I feel badly that I never finished and there is so much more to tell. (and so many more light porn pictures for good-old LL! You out there, LL?)

A quick overview:
Stitch (my husband) decided to take me to WDW for my 30th birthday! He isn't a big Disney Fan, but we went anyway. The first link covers the trip, the first day, and part of the second day. I will start where I ended!

Get ready for some Christmas in September! =)

Since our FP time for Safari was a way away, I decided to go see Tough to Be a Bug. I thought Stitch would get a kick out of the all the little details. He complained the whole way! We had to stop at the restroom again! I shoot a few pictrues.

Here: I love how the Christmas Decorations are even park themed! Totally awesome!

We finally found out way to the entrance. I shot pictures of the tree as we stood in line!

We watched Tough to Be a Bug, but Stitch was relatively unimpressed. He was interested in the Tree of Life a little. Well, after Bug, we had to head back to the Safari. Here is another long trip! UGH! We finally made it back, presented our FP and got in line for Safari. It was quite a long FP line, but it didn't take too long. We even got to bypass part of the line because we were a party of two!! Gotta love that!!!

Here is our driver. He was funny! He did some improving before we started!
DSC_0471.jpg

He saw people were taking his picture, so he pretended to point out a lion!
DSC_0472.jpg

We wait a bit before we can go because we had to wait for another bus. (more to come!)

DSC_0473.jpg

We start the safari, and, of course, I see the fun lanterns!
DSC_0474.jpg

On to the Animals!
DSC_0479.jpg

I love this guy! I had no idea he filtered the blood through his horns in order to cool it off and then cool his body off! Totally awesome!

The safari ride was about the same as I remembered. Stitch thought the animals were cool! After the Safari, we decided to go to the Pagari Forest Trail. There will little baby ducks!
DSC_0519.jpg

This little bird made me laugh- look at his feet!!!
DSC_0520.jpg

Of course, we saw the Prairie Dogs! THey were so cute!
DSC_0522.jpg

DSC_0524.jpg

As we were leaving the trail, we saw this beautiful Gorilla climbing to the top of a rock. The CM said it was a male. Apparently, the male wasn't posing for pictures- he was checking out the other gorillas in the area on the other side of the walkway! He was gorgeous, and I just stood and watch him for quite a while!!

DSC_0548.jpg

DSC_0550.jpg

The next picture is one of the gorillas that was being checked out. Awesome photo!
DSC_0552.jpg

We were getting tired, so we stopped for a rest. There was a cool light!
DSC_0553.jpg

Then decided to get something to eat. We walked to Pizzafari since it was close by. We decided to split a Hot Italian Sandwhich. We knew we had early ressies for dinner a little later, but we were pretty hungry. We ate that sandwhich FAST!!
DSC_0555.jpg

Yummy! Now, we are both feeling better and Stitch isn't complaining as much!

After our snack, I decided since Stitch likes the movie Lion King, he might actually like the Festival of the Lion King show. We headed down to Camp Mickey Minnie to catch the next showing. We got in line, and waited.
DSC_0556.jpg

I had my pin lanyard on, and a little boy came up and wanted to trade. If I remember correctly, I had mostly tradable pins on my lanyard, but there were a couple I had traded for that I didn't want him to pick from. I waited for him to choose, and he chose one I wanted to trade. He gave me a pin from TSM (which I didn't know what it was yet!), and ran off happy! I was glad one of my old pins had made his day!

We were ushered into the theatre, and we were seated on some bleachers. To my surprise, we were able to take pictures with a flash! :scared1: *Gasp* That is probably the only place at WDW where you can. I did turn my flash off, though. Here are a few of my better pictures!

The jumping monkeys were totally awesome! I would go back just to see them again! LOVED them!!!

DSC_0584.jpg

After the show, we were on our way to the buses to catch a bus to EPCOT and the the monorail over to the Poly for dinner. (The reason for this crazy transporation was this: when I first went to Disney World at 13, I remember riding the monorail to some destination and going through the Poly. I was determined to ride the monorail and get off at the Poly instead of riding through it! Plus, I wanted to give Stitch a chance on the monorail.)

As we headed out of Camp Mickey Minnie, Stitch decides he has to go to the restroom- on our way, I see the REAL Stitch doing an autograph/picture session. The line was too long, and I knew it. IF I stood in line, we would be late for dinner! (Remember, a fed Stitch is a happy Stitch, so we HAD to make dinner!) I had to skip Stitch this time! :headache: I thought, for sure we would see him again!

On our way out of the park, we saw this light. (We were in such a hurry, I could only do a 'drive-by photo', so that is why it isn't so good.
DSC_0585.jpg

Now, I can't remember the exact turn of events- is there a bus from AK to EPCOT? I didn't think there was, but I don't remember stopping anywhere else. Hmmm. . . Oh well. We made our way to EPCOT, and we had to ask how to get the monorail station. (A tempoary brain fart totally made me forget!!!) We got up to the loading platform and asked the CM about riding in the front. Stitch really didn't care about riding in the front:confused3, but I forced the issue. He agreed to wait even though he had no idea what was the big deal. We had to wait through the monorail that was currently loading and a second one. Stitch was unhappy. What did it matter, he asked. I just told him I wanted to do it, so he was ok- kinda.

So, do we get to ride in the front of the monorail?
Do we make it to dinner on time?

Continued on Next Post. . . .

When I left you, Stitch and I were waiting for the monorail and Stitch was restless.

Finally, the third monorail train pulled up, and it was our turn to board- IN THE FRONT!!! We did get to ride in the front of the monorail! Here is me:
DSC_0588.jpg

And here is Stitch! Doesn't he look thrilled? I got so many of those goofy smiles on this trip.

Here is our driver:

Here are some pictures from the car on the way to the TTC.

DSC_0596.jpg

I didn't realize you could only go to the TTC and then change to the monorail for the resorts! Argh! Oh well- what could we do. WE got a little confused at the TTC as to which monorail we needed to be on. Finally, we figured it out. Here is a picture of us pulling into the Poly!!
DSC_0601.jpg

We went inside, and it was gorgeous! I've never been there before, and I was amazed how awesome it was. We did a little shopping and then explored the hotel lounge until it was our dinner time.

This was an awesome light fixture on a mirror wall. It looked like cherry blossoms. I loved it, but it was hard to photograph!

Do you see the hidden Mickeys????
DSC_0619.jpg

We got upstairs to Kona only to discover we were too early! We walked around a little more and checked out the menu. (I originally booked Kona becuase they offered a traditional Thanksgiving meal, and since it was Thanksgiving, Stitch had origially told me he wanted to have Thanksgiving meal. Well, we ate at Liberty Tree the day before, and Stitch said that was fine!:headache: Oh well. Kona was still awesome!)

What do we eat for dinner?
What do we do after dinner. . .

Stay tuned!

Isn't it fun to sit in that front car of the monorail? Wonder if or when they will open it to guests again. How did Stitch like LOTLK show? I got to see it in December 2008 (I was by myself when I saw it and my daughter joined me 4 days later with her baby but she never got to see it). I loved it!

Heaven, I'm so glad to see someone is reading this!!!

They don't let guests ride in the front of the monorail anymore? We just rode in November? WOw!

Stitch said the FOTLK show was "OK" like he said to most things are WDW! :confused3 He wasn't too impressed by much! There are some things coming he was impressed with, but that is later! Oh well- can't win them all!

Please continue reading!

I'm not sure who else is readin this besides Heaven, but here we go!

Ok, when I left, we were waiting outside of Kona. We were too early to be seated. We noticed a menu off to the side of the door, so we checked it out. It was Thanksgiving day, so the menu was slightly different.

Here are some pictures I took while we were waiting:

At last, we were seated. As we walked in, I saw this awesome Lilo and Stitch sculpture made of CHOCOATE!!!

We sat and waited looking at the menu. Here are a few Kona images.

Here is Stitch!
DSC_0633.jpg

I ordered a Blackberry Mojito (pictured) and Stitch ordered a Passionfruit Mojito which was much better than mine! (Sorry no pic of that!)
DSC_0638.jpg

Here is Stitch with his Pomegranted BBQ Pork Chops which were very good!
DSC_0640.jpg

I don't know why the boy can't sit still!!!

I ordered Teriyaki New York Strip Steak. It had a vegetable called broccolini! I had never heard of it, but it was tasty!!!
DSC_0639.jpg

We both ordered dessert since we were on the DP, but I forgot to get pictures. Stitch ordred a Volcano Cake which was very yummy and chocolately! I ordered a Chocolate Banana Creme Brulee. WOW! So good! Wish I had pictures! :headache:

After dinner, we decided to head to DTD because I had gotten a coupon for some free Lithographs that was only good through that night. I begged and pleaded with Stitch to go over there- how often do you get something FREE at Disney?????:scared1: We went downstairs and waited for the bus. It seemed like we waited forever, and Stitch was getting anxious and frustrated. The bus finally came, and it was packed!! We got on and headed to DTD.

Once there, we made a b-line straight for the World of Disney. It was packed! Plus, I didn't know exactly where to go. We finally asked a CM who directed us to the right area where we go our lithos. We left DTD because we were tired and Stitch was complaining. He wanted milk and cookies (which he has nearly every night!) We got back on the bus and headed to CSR. I was so tired of Stitch complaining. We got back to CSR, and Stitch decided he was too tired to get his cookies and milk! :headache: We went back to our room.

Does Stitch get his cookies and milk?
Do I finally blow up at him for being a baby at WDW??

Stay tuned. . .

Sorry for the delay. I have been very sick. I'm so glad I feel better and can sit at the computer to work! :goodvibes

Ok, I left off with Stitch being a baby and complaining. We went back to our room, and being the baby he was, Stitch got in his jammies and settled into bed with the TV on. I was so aggrivated with him. I told Stitch I was taking a walk just so I could get away and cool off. Stitch agreed (which I was surprised because he usually wants to cuddle at night!). Phew, I was going to hit him if he said no!!:rotfl:

I grabbed my room key, wallet, and camera and left! I took a very fast walk towards the main building aggrivated! I venting to myself. . .He is ruining my vacation. This was my trip for my birthday, and all he can do whine! Why can't he have fun at the happiest place on earth??? :sad2: Oh, I was upset!!! I got the main building and decided to spend a little time in the gift shop since I was alone!!

I just love looking at the gift shops- not only for Disney merchandise, but for the atmosphere! I was having a nice time. I took a few pictures in the CSR lobby as well! I love their Christmas decorations, and I was hoping to find an ornament that looked like the lights at CSR, but I never did! :confused3

I headed outside. It was dark, but I tried to shoot some pictures of the lights at CSR! This is the pool
DSC_0657.jpg

Then I walked around the large lagoon and over to a bridge where I shot these awesome pictures!
DSC_0660.jpg

DSC_0663.jpg

I stayed on the bridge a long time thinking over things and trying hard to let my anger at Stitch fade. I finally started to feel better. . .ah the magic of Disney! :wizard: I headed back to the room where I found Stitch asleep. When I came in, he woke up. The tension between us was gone, and I felt better. I was Disney- how can I be upset???

We went to bed, and I had huge expectations for tomorrow!

Coming up. . .
Do we get to ride TSM? If so, what is the wait?
Do we make it to one of my favorite restaurants in time for our ARD?

When I left, Stitch and I were fine. Friday dawned with no problems. We got up and got dressed. Food was the next target. We decided to just get breakfast sandwhiches from the Cafe Rix at CSR. We got our food, but there was no place to sit in the small Cafe. We headed outside. It was a little chilly, but what can you do? I forgot to take pictures, we just ate. They were croissants with ham and egg. Yummy! We finished our breakfast and headed to the bus stop. We were headed to Hollywod STudios!

I had a plan, make a b-line STRAIGHT to TSM! I knew we had to get FPs for that ride if we had any possibility of riding it! That was my plan! I can't remember if I explained it to Stitch or not All I know is I had studied the updated HS map over and over to get into my head the best route from the entrance of the park to the TSM line!! :lmao:

We arrived and, of course, had to go through bag check. I shot some pictures as we entered.

DSC_0003.jpg

Of course, Stitch had to stop and get water! (We were constantly stopping for water or the restroom! OH well) That's him in the blue behind this fun guy!

ETA: We did stop for photopass pictures!
image127.jpg

image129.jpg

The photopass lady was about to give me back my photopass card WITHOUT doing the STITCH picture. Oh, no! I told her I wanted to do Stitch! Don't try to fool me, lady! I'm not stupid!!
image134.jpg

Of course, as we got to the hub in front of the hat and the GMR, the High School Musical show was going on. We skirted our way around that and through the crowds.
DSC_0010.jpg

DSC_0011.jpg

DSC_0012.jpg

I was shooting pictures as I walked. All the while, Stitch is trailing me saying I'm walking too fast. Oh, he just doesn't understand!!! TSM was my mission!!! We turned the corner behind the movie ride and headed to TSM.
DSC_0013.jpg

DSC_0014.jpg

I was so impressed with all the little TS details around the ride. I found the FP line (which was really long) and stood in it as I shot pictures. I don't know what the standby for the ride was, but the FP return (at 9:30am) was for 4:00pm!!!!!
DSC_0015.jpg

DSC_0016.jpg

DSC_0017.jpg

WE got our FPs! Phew!!! Suddenly STitch realizes that if we have one FP not good until 4 that we can't get another! :lmao: Yep, sorry, buddy! For me, it was TSM- the rest we would have to ride standby! Too bad!

Where do we go next?
How are the other standby lines on this day after Thanksgiving???

Ok, first of all, if you are reading this, please, leave me some feedback! I feel like no one is out there!!!

When I left you, we had just gotten our FPs for TSM. Since we were so close, we got in line for the Great Movie Ride. I'd read good and bad things about it, and I couldn't remember it very well, so I wanted to take Stitch on it.

Funky picture of the front as we walked in.

The line was pretty short, and just as we got close, they asked for a set of 2 riders. We got to skip the rest of the line and get into the next car! Here are a few of my better pictures from the ride.

After the Land of OZ and the singing of the We're off to See the Wizard, our car just sat. We waited and waited. Oz is super creepy when everything is totally still.
DSC_0037-1.jpg

I guess someone was loading into a different car. It took a little bit, and then we were off. We finished the ride. Stitch, of course, thought the ride was ok. I did, too. It wasn't as awesome as I remembered, but it wasn't bad! We headed out, and I shot a funky picture of the hat!
DSC_0039.jpg

We headed over to RnRC to check the time. On our way, we saw some street performers. This guy was hilarious!
DSC_0041-1.jpg

It was the police officer and a young actor. The actor wanted to know how to get to a studio. The police officer was giving him instructions going past every doughnut stand in the city. It was so funny! Stitch really enjoyed it! Then he noticed what was on the policeman's belt!
DSC_0042-1.jpg

It is a doughnut in a red box with the words "Break In Case of Emergency!" Both Stitch and I found that so incredibly funny! :woohoo: You MUST see these street performers if you get a chance!!!!!

Once the performance was over, we headed towards ToT and RnRC!
DSC_0043.jpg

DSC_0044.jpg

DSC_0045.jpg

We first walked past ToT and saw the standby line was 40 minutes. Then we walked to the RnRC to check the standby time. It was 80 minutes!!!! I said nope, and we headed back to ToT to wait in standby. Stitch was ok at first, but he started to get antsy and bored in line. I got my camera out and was taking all kinds of pictures. It kept me occupied!

I love the Disney details they put in the que to make the gardens look overgrown and abandoned! I LOVE all the little details on ToT! I think they make it look awesome.

As we stood in line, Stitch kept seeing the doors of the ToT open and the cars drop with the people screaming. He asked me what the ride was like. I explained it to him a little. I could tell he was a little apprehensive about the ride. The more we saw the doors open, the more scared Stitch got. (He doesn't like heights, so this was asking a lot because he didn't realize you could see the outside to see how hight you were!) :scared1:

At first, Stitch was ok with me taking pictures, but after a while, he started getting cranky.

How does Stitch do in line and on ToT?
Do I enjoy the ride as much as usual?

Stay tuned!

I love your ToT pics! What great perspectives you got :thumbsup2

I am now sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to find out if Stitch chickened out at the last minute!! (ok, maybe chickened out is too harsh - decided to not go on the ride because he really needed a Mickey bar at the last moment ;))

Thanks, heaven! It is nice to know someone is out there.

As for my photographs- I love looking at things and photographing them from different angles! It is something I strive to do!

I'll do a new post soon, so you can see how Stitch does!

Thanks for reading!

Kristin

Let's see. . . Stitch and I were in line at ToT. Stitch was getting apprehensive about the ride, and he was irritated with my picture taking.:confused3

I continue to take pictures of ToT as we wait. What else was I going to do? :rotfl2: (Plus, I love those Disney Details!)

Just after I got the last picture, Stitch is harping on me about not moving when the line did. Ok, that is understandable, but the person in front of us had moved maybe 5 feet! Geesh! Give me a break.

Ok, we are officially inside the "hotel"

At this point, we were getting very close to where you get in the area right before the library. I still had my camera out and the whole time Stitch is worried. "Do you want to skip the ride and just take pictures?" "How many pictures are you really going to take?" "You need to put your camera away so it doesn't get distroyed!" (Like I don't know this!) :rotfl: Just to keep him quiet, I put my camera back in its bag. (I mean seriously! I didn't have the flash on, I wasn't slowing the line down, etc. It was just like my non-disney-photographer at Mickey's Philharmagic not but two days prior!!!) Thanks a lot, Stitch!

We were ushered to the last holding area past the "check-in" desk. I wanted to take some more pictures so badly, but I knew if I got my camera out, Stitch would divorce me right there! We were ushered in the library. I was excited- STitch was aggrivated. We watched the video and then walked out into the "Workings" of the hotel to load the elevators. It was still a little waiting time, but not bad. We were put in line for the elevator, and I tried (in vain) to figure out which row we were in. We ended up in the front row! Woo- Hoo! Yes, Stitch got on with me. He strapped the backpack to his front and fastened his seatbelt TIGHT! :rotfl2: He was terrified!!! I was totally excited!

The ride started and we went through the hotel. I wasn't really paying attention to Stitch- I was enjoying the ride. The doors opened and we fell, rose, and fell again. I had a blast! :cloud9:

The ride ended, and I looked at Stitch. He seemed slightly green! We walked off the elevator to where to the pictures show. WHAT A HOOT! :lmao: In the picture (which I didn't get) was Stitch, shrunk down next to me holding on for dear life! It was the funnies thing! :lmao: Mr. Macho-Tough-Guy was terrified! He announced as we left the gift shop that he was NOT going to ride that ride again! :lmao:

We left ToT, checked RnRC which, I think, was up to 110 minutes! Then we did a little shopping. We ducked in the villians store, and I acutally found an awesome Mickey Mouse Mug (which I show at the end). We bought that and had it sent back to the room!

After that, we headed to the Animation Tour. I really wanted to do this because I had heard it had changed so much since I did it last time. We got in line and were first!! We had a quick granola bar as we waited. Finally, they let us through the turnstyle to the door. We walked in the theatre and watched the cheezy video with Mushu. Oh well. Can't win them all! Then we followed through the empty studio. (What a bummer. When I was at WDW in 1992, they were still using that facillity to animate. No more!) Anyway, we got to the end of the tour where there are characters and the Animation Academy! I got in line to draw. STitch decided he wasn't interested. He decided to meet me outside after he got more water. Yeah, ok, whatever! I stayed to draw!!!

I waited a little while and watched families interact with the Inredibles! It made me so sad that Stitch was such a downer. Oh well. I decided to make the best of it. I went into the animation academy and took a seat in the front. The animator came in, and we were going to draw the mouse himself!!!

We started drawing. The little girl next to me was upset with her drawing. It didn't look good, she complained. She continued to try, but gave up near the end. I spoke to her and told her it takes lots of practice to draw. (My drawing had been shown as a good example) I told her I've been practicing drawing Mickey since I was little. I told her that you have to start somewhere and her drawing was really a great start. She was still upset and very stubborn, but I just kept talking to her. She eventually finished her drawing and it wasn't too bad. I love working with kids!

I left the academy and went through the gift shop where I thought I'd find Stitch. Nope. I didn't stay too long because everything there was very expensive. Just outside, Stitch was waiting by the door. He apologize for being mean and had some lemonade for us to share. I wasn't mad anymore. I showed him my drawing and told him about the little girl. I was in a fine mood- I just wish he would follow suit!!!

Coming up. . .Lunch. . .TSM. . and MICKEY ICE CREAM!!!!!!

After the lemonade, Stitch decided he was hungry, so we headed over to the Studio Catering Company. We both got pulled pork sandwhiches. Stitch got a marble cheesecake for dessert, and I got a chocolate fudge cake! Yummy! I forgot to take pictures, though! :headache: OH well.

As we ate (and fought the wind!), we decided what we were going to do next. There was a Lights, Motors, Action! stunt show at 1:20. We were close, so we just decided to eat, take a restroom break and then head over there. Stitch loves cars, so I thought this was a terribly ingenious idea!! :rotfl:

We got to the bleachers, and we were kinda early. I shot a few pictures while we waited
DSC_0085.jpg

DSC_0087.jpg

It was kinda nice to just sit and wait.

The stunt show started. This was a new show for me- something I'd never seen. I found it very fascinating to see how they really do the stunt driving! We even got to see Herbie!

Guess what: Stitch thought it was ok!! :confused3:rotfl: What can you do? You find the one thing Stitch likes at WDW, and he still thinks it is ok! :headache:

After that, we checked the time on Star Tours. 40 minutes. Stitch isn't a big Star Wars fan, so I wasn't sure he'd really want to wait 40 minutes for it. We headed back to RnRC to check the time and shoot some pictures.

Well, the wait time was 120 minutes. No way! We couldn't get FP either because we still had the TSM FPs. Ok, so we walked back across the park. . .

Who I had no idea was actually from a Disney Cartoon

Way cool- I learned something!

We checked the line at Star Tours, and it was longer. Ok, we headed to Muppets 3-D which wasn't too start for a while. I was pretty hot (I think this was the last day I wore jeans!), so we found some shade and sat for a little while. I started to feel better, so we got in the line for the next Muppets show.
DSC_0110-1.jpg

I think this is where I did a pin trade with a CM to get an awesome princess pin!! I was terribly excited!!

We walked into the Muppet waiting area. Stitch was actually getting a little kick out of all the stuff there. We got our spiffy 3D glasses :3dglasses and watched the intro movie. Then we were herded into the theatre. I remembered really liking this show, but it didn't seem to meet my expectations. Oh well. It was still fun!

As we were leaving, we saw Lightning McQueen and Mater, but there was a long line. I didn't see any reason to stand it, so we just walked by.

We walked over to One Man's Dream because I wanted to see a few of the things that are mentioned in the Kingdom Keeper's books (like Walt's Desk set up, etc):rotfl:. Stitch wasn't too impressed to be there, but he did take a little time to read a few things. We decided to skip the movie because it was getting close to our TSM FP return time!

more in next post. . .

We headed back to the TSM que, but our time hadn't come yet, and they were being very strict on the FP return time. WE decided to get a Mickey Ice Cream bar because I've NEVER had one! I knew it wasn't going to be anything terribly exciting- just an ice cream bar, but it was a MICKEY bar! I HAD to have one. Stitch thought I was nuts, but he played along. I shot more pictures as we waited in line. I was impressed with all the larger-than-life Woody products like in Toy Story 2!!

At last, the time changed for our return. We hopped in line because if we didn't get in line, we might not make our 5:15 ADRs at EPCOT. Remember, our TSM return was 4:00!!

"Hey, Howdy, Hey! That's me, I'm on a yo-yo!" (I was so excited to see the Woody yo-yo like in the movie!)

I loved the que for TSM. All the large items really made you feel like you were a toy in Andy's room! I loved all the details they put into this ride! It was cool! Even some of the crayons had a used tip instead of a brand-new tip! Oh, the little Disney things!

I think we waited in line the FP line for 30 minutes. I was really starting to worry about the time! Finally, we were loaded into the ride cars, and started the ride.

Stitch isn't a gamer, but he had fun on this one. He got 111,800 while I only got 97,100! I didn't have time to get my camera out, so I just remembered the scores!

After we got off the ride (which was totally awesome, btw!), we high-tailed it to the front and to the bus stop. It was 4:40. We had to get to EPCOT and to the World Showcase by 5:15 in order to make one of my most anticipated ADRs which was our Candlelight deal, too. We had to make dinner in order to get our Candlelight Processional tickets! I was frantic!!!

Do we make it to EPCOT in time?
Do we make it to the restaurant in time??

Stay tunned!

Kristin

When I left you, we were waiting for a bus to EPCOT from HS. We waited a while. One bus drove up, but to my dismay, they had to unload a guest with special needs. :headache: Shortly after, another bus comes up and parks next to the first. The bus driver says we can ride on that bus. Stitch and I jump on and we are off to EPCOT.

I'm still trying to get ahold of Disney Dinning to let them know we are running late. I finally gave up.

On the bus, I explain to Stitch that we have to go to the very back of the park, and he will have to follow me without question if we are going to make it to dinner on time. He agreed.

Once at EPCOT, I go into Crazied-Disney-Guest mode. We get through bag check and the turn styles and make a b-line through World to the lagoon. I decide, it will be better to go through Canada, England, France, and Japan to get to Morocco and to the Restaurant Marrakesh instead of going the other way. We make a quick turn and are powerwalking through the World Showcase:scared1:! About half way to the restaurant, Stitch starts begging me to slow down! I told him there was no time and we were nearly there. He wanted to sit and rest! :rotfl2: No way! We booked it all the way from the bus stop to the Restaurant Marrakesh. We made it at 5:20- only 5 minutes late for our ADR. Sweating and out of breath, I talk to the hostess at the restaurant and tell her we are only 5 minutes late. They were packed. She seemed concerned, but when I told her it was only for two, she looked a little more at ease. She asked us to wait. While we waited, people tried to get walk-in seating, but the hostess turned them away.

Within five minutes, Stitch and I were being lead to our table. :wizard: I love Disney Magic! We ordered and had some time to look around.

Stitch and I ordered the Marrakesh Royal Feast. Stitch ordered a Marrakesh Express to drink, and I had a Moroccan Mint Tea. Of course, I got over excited, and I spilled the entire tea all over the table and onto the floor! :sad2: Ugh! The CMs were really nice and helped me clean it up. I felt so stupid. They brought me another drink, and everything we good! Oh man!:rolleyes1

Anyway, they brought our Harira soup first. It was very good!!

Next came dinner that consisted of Beef Brewat Rolls, Lemon Chicken, Roasted Lamb Meshoui, Couscous with Seven Vegetables. It was all delicious!! I love Couscous, but I found out Stitch isn't a big fan! Oh well- he enjoyed the rest of the meal as well!
DSC_0146.jpg

Afterwards, we got a sampling of Moroccan Pasteries which I forgot to photograph! They were delicious as well. Now, Stitch and I are totally stuffed! We finished dinner and stayed a little to watch the Bellydancer and the musicians perform.

We paid our bill (we had to pay for Stitch's drink and for the appetizer soup because it wasn't included on our meal plan. Oh well! It was still an awesome deal!) Then we walked into the Moroccan Pavillion for a bit. Stitch decided he had to use the restroom, so we walked over to Japan where the nearest restrooms were. I shot a few pictures. . .

We spent a little time in Japan looking at the large department-type store. Stitch was aggrivated with me. He isn't a big shopper. We left, and as we walked through Morocco, we stopped for a moment to watch a band that was performing.

I don't remember now what happened, but Stitch and I got into an argument. Stitch was upset that I was making this vacation not relaxing and was pushing to do so much. I think he was complaining that we were doing all the things I wanted. I don't remember what else was said. We walked through France and started to go through England, but I was crying. We stopped at a fireworks viewing area near the lagoon. We stood by the water and talked. Stitch was upset that we were doing so much so quickly. I think there were other complaints, too, but I don't remember what they were. I was upset because he was being sour and not having a good time. I told him I had tried so hard to do all the things I thought he'd like, and I didn't feel he was having a good time. We talked for a while. We finally got things settled. Stitch promised to try to have a better attitude. He also assured me he was having a good time.

(too many pictures for this post- more in the next. . .)

We walked in silence through the park. I got my camera out to take a few pictures even though I really wasn't in the mood. We stopped at the EPCOT Tree and the bridge of lights.

WE headed toward Spaceship Earth to ride. The line was kinda long, but it went quickly.

Our future included traveling in computer controlled cars! Fun stuff! We got off the ride, and it was time to find the theatre for the Candlelight Processional. I thought it was near the Living Seas. We walked over there, but found nothing. We bought a bottle of water and asked the CM where the American Gardens were. They said it was in the American Pavillion! :headache: D'oh! Why didn't I think of that! We had to walk all the way around the lagoon to the other side, and we only had about 15 minutes! Not again!

Do we make it in time?
Do we get to see all of the Candlelight Processional? Or do we miss it?

I'm so sorry that your evening turned out the way it did :sad1: I'm glad you talked it out and hopefully tomorrow turns out with a brand new slate! It's hard sometimes when you think you are planning the day to keep others happy and it just doesn't turn out the way you hoped. I had a meltdown in 1997 during a trip with 12 family members and it wasn't until my late sis-in-law & I talked on our way to the Polynesian resort for church services (and the fact the service was on forgiveness) that helped clear the air a little. I felt no one was being appreciative of all I did to put the trip together (paying for it all, leaving them nothing to do but enjoy with no financial worries and my late husband's brother & other sis-in-law complained the whole time.) I know this isn't the same as with your husband but it is disheartening to say the least but I have faith you will both have a better time from here on out!
