Stitch's Hideout

Anyone ever stay here? It is a Florida Sun Vacation Homes Rental in Windsor Hills.

Most of the FSVH feedback I've found seems positive. Just wondering if anyone's been in this condo.

We were considering Stitch's Hideout for our next trip (January 09), so I tried to do some research on the property. The only thing I came upon was a brief mention of it on Trip Advisor as part of a review on Windsor Hills. I inquired with the poster and received this personal reply:

"Stitch's Hideout was fabulous in every aspect. The furniture, glassware and tableware in the condo are all of a good standard...nothing cheesy at all. The walk to the clubhouse is not all that demanding....I had a 5 year old tagging along and she made it. I did not really check my watch, but I think we made it in around 5 minutes...maybe a touch longer. A car is necessary if you are going to take kids to the playground area...up the street from the clubhouse. The website also shows pictures of a volleyball court and a putting green. I did not really look hard, but did not see either of those. The drive to WDW was quick and easy."

We have since determined that we need a bigger property because we have additional family joining us. That being said, we are still planning to book through FSVH. We used them previously (December 06) and were more than pleased with the experience. If you have any specific questions, please feel free to contact me.

P.S. I'm headed in your direction in about two weeks...taking my daughter to see High School Musical on Ice at the Giant Center in Hershey!

Do you know how long ago the message was on Trip Adviser? My DD (yes, she is 20 ) loves Stitch. That is the reason for picking this rental over others. I doubt we will make use of the Club House or pool. It will be me, DD and my 70-something parents. Their first trip!

I'm pretty sure the review was recent...I'm thinking March of this year. If you have any specific questions, you may want to inquire with FSVH as well. I've had several questions for them through the year regarding our upcoming trip and they've been great to communicate with.

I'd love to hear your review if you decide to go with Stitch's Hideout.
