Stitchs Great Escape???

The attraction is a major waste of time. Its basically the same thing with only difference being Stitch replacing the Alien and it not being scary whatsoever.

The biggest problem we had is that Alien Encounter was pretty new to begin with, why rehab an attraction that had already recently been rehabbed?

We did this for the first time a few weeks ago. While I didn't hate it I probably won't do this again. The chilli dog burp was gross. Just my opinion.

There have been many post about this "attraction". Personally, I was really disappointed in it. We did not like it at all. It was a huge waist of time. We love Stitch too, but this was a waste of time in our opinion. It seemed as though, it was a "rush" job, they put stitch in place of the alien, added some disgusting smells, and that's it. NOT impressed. They could've come up with an awesome attraction with stitch........... but this totally misses the boat. Sorry, but I'd have to say -- Skip it!!!!

Is this attraction laid out the same as the alien one? We never saw that one so I have no Idea what it really was all about.

We thought it was cute. It was in character with Stitch. Don't know why so many people are putting it down.

We liked it too. My DS5 wanted to see it more than once and still talks about it now that we're back home. I think the animatronic Stitch is very life-like and that the presentation was true to Stitch's character.

We went on this for the first time 2 weeks ago. Once was enough. 2 of my 3 nieces who were on the trip are 6 (and one loves Stitch) and they didn't seem too impressed. The one, whose the slightly taller of the two, said she didn't feel Stitch when he jumped on the harnass. I think she was a little afraid of the harnass though and slouched down. I sat forward some when it came down and kind of guided it down over me and lowered myself a little in the seat, so the jumping effect didn't bother me. I don't think I'd go on it again.

I wasn't really impressed, but I'm not a big stitch fan. My ds12 was like "where's the rest of the ride?".
That was my exact question. I even stayed in my seat for a few seconds sure that there had to be something else, anything else. Major dissapointment! I guess even Disney can't hit a homerun every time.

I am a stitch fan, but was disappointed with this attraction. I was glad I had a FP. I did it once, and that was enough. 8 days to go, and it's me and Mickey.

My 5 year old son LOVED it. I agree that it was a major waste of time. I never understood while Alien Encounter was considered scary either - it was always lame.

Im worried now about this ride. We are supposed to be at the MK in a few days and Stitch is one of the sweetpea's faves. This will be our first time on the ride and it sounds like a lot are disapointed in it. Stitch wasn't ready when we were last there and Alien Encounter was already going through the Stitch rehab so we have nothing to compare it to. Im planning on going in with an open mind. Hopefully the sweetpea will enjoy it. And if the sweetpea likes it, im sure I will too then.

Here is my advice if you've not taken your child on this ride before (and I'll give the reason at the end) Have her stand when the harness comes down and then perch on the edge of the seat for the show.

And here's why:

I've been on this ride when it was Alien Encounter and again when it was Stich. So only twice, but each time I noticed that several of the childern were terrified. I don't mean scared either, I mean terrified. I've never heard screaming like that. To the point where a CM had to come with a flashlight to get the kids out. One mother wasn't waiting on the CM and she was on her feet forcing that harness up to get to her child, which I don't blame her. No one wants their kids that scared. This isn't a ride about sweet Stich, this is a ride about 626, so keep that in mind.

Now I know plenty of people have been on it more than twice, like I have, and have liked it fine. You know your child better than any advice here. I will say, however, that that ride, for some reason, gets me all worked up. I think it's the harness and I just feel like I can't get out and I hate that feeling. The last time I did the ride, I didn't let the harness get me and I went and sort of leaned in a doorway and the ride was nothing, very tame, from there. It's all about perspective I guess.

This is just my .02. I hope you and your family have a wonderful time! :goodvibes

Ooh, this ride was not a favorite of mine. When he goes bouncing on everybodys shoulders that hurts! It presses down on your shoulders pretty hard.
