Does any one know if there will be a height requirement for the new Stitch ride. My son loves Stitch, but he is only three years old and a little short for his age. He would be so disapointed if he could not ride.

I would look up what the ride height used to be for Alien Encounter. I believe that it will stay the same.
Just my guess.

Looked up the height requirement for AE and it was 44 inches. I sure hope they lower it.
:sad1:
Thanks for your response

The 44 inches is kind of a strange one. It seems like everything I've been looking at is 40 or 48 and most things are 40".

Any word on when the "soft opening" starts? We are going to be there July 10-15 and would love to be able to ride. We watched the movie this morning, and it looks like a ride would be very cool!

When my daughter was small, we managed to find some shoes that had a huge sole on them - gave her another 3" and this allowed us to squeak by on a couple of ride height restrictions.

Depending on your son's height and how he feels about wearing something like this, it may be an option to consider.

reason for the height has to do with the 'restraint' used on AE that came down and was on your shoulders.

I hope they get rid of the height requirement. My DS will want to ride Stitch.. but he's only 2 1/2!!

I'm thinking since this ride has more of a kids theme that maybe the height restriction will be geared more for the smaller ones too.

The height restriction is for the restraints! I'm 5'1" and I was too short for the restraints. My head kept bouncing against them. It always happens to me.
